My wife won a brand new Theragun Pro via an app competition. It was clearly new and unopened. When it arrived one of the two provided batteries where defective. After reaching out to the company and after providing the requested info, they refused the battery replacement request, stating that it not qualify under their 1-year warranty because it was not purchased from them. Regardless of where it was purchased, it should've been covered especially if it was new. These companies play these games and hope they don't have to hear about their mess afterward. Here's another one-star review that they can have a "lovely rest of the day" with for their response below: Thank you for sending the information requested. I took a moment to look into your order, xxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxx and was able to confirm that unfortunately it was purchased through an Unauthorized Retailer. Kindly note, per our companys warranty policy, we are able to provide replacments only for orders placed directly through Therabody.com or Authorized Retailers, due to your order is from an unauthorized retailer this time we wont be able to assist you with a replacement. I kindly suggest you to contatc the retailer to request further information on their replacement process.
