    We had a move of a 4 bedroom house going 2.3 miles (5 min) to our new house that took 17 hours for them to complete and that was with them only setting up master bedroom furniture and everything else was left for us because by this time it was 3am and we were done with having them in our home. We had owned the new house for 5 weeks previously so i had already brought over the entire kitchen, closets, decor, and kids toys so that should have taken a large amount of time off the move. We had some heavy furniture which has been moved 2 other times with a max time of 8 hrs(including 1 hr drive). Receipts from previous moves with same furniture was provided to JFK movers, per their request, which they then chose to ignore because it didn't work with their narrative. After 4 hrs moving when they had already taken over a 30 min break at the 2 hour mark, they said they were going on lunch and would bring the truck to new house to unload after, they disappeared for 3 hours and we had to call the company to track them down but the company did not even know who they sent to our house. During this time 1 man quit and they took the truck with our belongings to go take him home even though they had personal cars there and did not communicate any of this with us. Finally, around midnight a manager showed up to work for free because he discovered what a mess this was, he apologized profusely and said he would be losing his mind if this was his move. Finally, at 3 am, they unloaded everything, we paid and they left. The next day I called the company and talked to ***** for an hour and he had me email everything that happened with pictures, including damaged furniture and receipts. I finally received an email back 1 week after the move that stating they took full responsibility but only offered a minuscule refund which would be taken directly from movers salary and stated they would be very upset with us for this.
