On June 2nd, 2021, I paid *******, the owner of 'Pattern Maker LA' $715 to create 3 different patterns and samples for the launch of my fashion brand 'Jazmine Oshun'. ******* assured me that she would have the 3 samples completed by Friday, June 23rd at the latest, so that I would have time to do a photoshoot and announce the launch on my birthday, June 27th. ******* postpone the due 3 times, by the 3rd time, it had already been over 1 month that the samples were behind so I simply asked ******* to refund me my $715 because I wanted to take my business elsewhere to someone who could deliver. Immediately after me asking for the refund ******* claimed that my samples were all finished. I constantly asked her for photos but she continued to make excuses as to why she couldn't refund me my money. To this day, I've never received my samples or even pictures of them completed even after she claimed they were finished. My wish is to receive a full refund for the samples I've never received and for ******* to stop taking advantage of new designers trying to build a name for themselves.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/27) */ I am disputing this claim for a refund as my company completed the one sample Ms. **** requested. The remaining 2 samples were put on hold and I sent a refund for those 2 pieces. Please read the attached documents for a complete explanation of my interactions with Ms. **** and our reasons for declining to refund her deposit Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/02/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not except this response because I have not received any samples from ******* or even photos. Last I spoke with *******, before she stopped responding and answering my calls, she stated to me that she had completed all the samples, now she's saying she completed only one sample. I've begged and pleaded with here to give me my full refund as I have not received or even seen photos of any of the samples that I've paid for. Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2022/02/26) */ ***Document Attached*** Please read the attached document. ******** is demanding more money than she paid me which I consider to be fraud. I will not submit to black mail or tolerate any further harassment from this individual. I have offered to send her the dress sample and pattern, but she has not responded to my requests for a ship to address or has she communicated any demand for these materials previous to reading her response to this complaint Consumer Response /* (4200, 13, 2022/03/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I am not accepting this response. I never asked for more than I've paid, I simply asked for my full refund as I have yet to even see a photo of the samples that ******* claims she's finished. I've submitted the text messages where I asked her to send me the samples. After ******* stopped responding to me, I asked my mother to reach out to her and ask if she can mail me the samples and she responded that she was unable to do that. It's been almost 8 months and I'm still not understanding how or why ******* is trying to play the victim when all I've simply asked for was to refund me my full $715 since she was unable to complete her job in a professional or timely manner.
