My husband had x-rays done at *************************** for his knee and foot on Dec. 28, 2023. According to his insurance, all bills associated with this procedure have been paid. However, we keep receiving a billing statement from DRS (Desert Radiology Solutions LLC based in ***********, **) showing an amount of $231.00 is owed to them. The 1st bill we received in late January or early Feb. 2023, we called them for details as to why we owe this amount, they indicated the insurance they submitted to, which was Aetna *************** and ***** said they are not able to identify the insured & that we need to call DRS to update insurance information. We called DRS to let them know ***** was not our insurance and not sure why or how they got that information. We provided DRS the new information, which should be *************** Advantage to begin with since we had cancelled the coverage with Aetna back in Nov. 2023. They said they will submit to *************** Advantage and will let us know; low and behold, a 2nd bill with the same amount came saying Humana Intermountain Healthcare denied the claim. We got on the phone with DRS Representative and Humana to resolve the issue and, over the phone, Humana stated all bills applied to the x-rays dated Dec. 28, 2023, are fully paid. DRS Rep said they will reassess and let us know. Now a month later, we received a 3rd bill with the same amount starting the whole process over again. We called *************************** to check if my husband's account has any bill or amount due and they said NO.No matter what we tried, DRS won't stop sending the billing statement and threatening that if we don't pay by due date, the billing balance may be turned over to collection. We do have a letter from ***** showing the coverage was cancelled as of Nov. 1, 2023 and a billing statement from Humana that the accrued charges for Dec. 28, 2023 knee and foot x-rays have been paid. Please help as soon as possible. Thank you!

      Hello ***************************,

Regarding complaint #******** and for the record, I
just realized I inadvertently stated the bills we received were in "January
or early Feb. 2023" in the original complaint; however, it should be 2024.
Thank you for your kind support and understanding.

I am a retired military and I have 100 percent health insurance(Tricare) for me and my family. My son had a surgery on 10/20/22 at ************************************. My insurance paid most of the bill but Desert Radiology ************** and *****************************(Radiologist) have not paid because TRICARE demand their company credentials so they can process the payment. But they never responded. Now Desert Radiology ************** submitted this PLUS FOUR collection agency and it reflected on my credit report. I contacted numerous times and they said they will escalate this but its been a year now and have not resolve this issue. This affecting me and my family for purchasing a house. I am not liable for this medical bill bill.

Desert Radiology Solutions failed to file claim with my health insurance Aetna within 180 days as per their binder with Aetna. Claim rejected for failure to file in timely manner.. So a year later they find the list claim and tried to submit it.. but Aetna rejected it because failure to file claim within 180 days.So then Desert Radiology Solutions hires ************* collection agency to illegally and knowingly attempt collect ion on this outstanding portion that belongs to Desert Radiology Solitions.. Oatient Copay zero. I had Aetna and Desert Radiology on a 3 way call and DRS was explicitly told they are in wrong trying collect this from me as patient.. and they were told take it off my credit reports. Only Experian and Equifax have removed the collection so far.. Transunion still reflects the Collection on it.HOW MANY OTHER PATIENTS ARE VICTIMS OF DESERT RADIOLOGY SOLUTIONS DOING THIS TO ORHER PATIENTS THST DONT KNOW BETTER.. like I found out by calling my insurance.. smdh I
