If I could leave less than one star I would. I highly recommend you RUN from these people unless you like being subjected to "Fair Game" tactics and payola. I received the worst advice here ever from an attorney which resulted in a successful eviction. This office literally advised me that it was not necessary to file an answer or respond to an eviction notice because it had not been served properly. There was a sheriff's notice on my door and this man advised me NOT TO RESPOND. Obviously this was wrong and it provided my landlord (************************* aka ***************** of ***************************** LLC) with a default judgment which resulted in me being evicted. My landlord threatened me and utilized harassment tactics to force an eviction from an illegal unit after illegally collecting rent for 6 months. He is also a member of a church that begins with the letter "S" or at least ex-wife is. I believe he utilized this to his benefit. Jacob said he would *** my landlord and that my eviction was actually going to help my case since I was evicted from an illegal unit which is a misdemeanor crime, and since the landlord committed fraud he was liable for criminal charges as well as civil. I signed a retainer agreement. He said we had to *** him for the restitution and legally the landlord must pay for relocation and damages. I have government documents to prove it was an illegal eviction as well as an order to comply and several orders to comply from the **** of health against my landlord. Despite all this, Jacob decided to drop my case without explanation after wasting yet another few months of my time. Literally because of this firm I am now evicted illegally without receiving the justice and monetary compensation required by law.
