Jan 1 2023 My Home was flooded with toilet sewage. I Informed ******************** and they sent out a company with fans to dry out the home.I am 79 yrs old and recently diagnosed with early stages of Alzheimer Disease.I was not fully aware of what was happening and the insurers and contractors were having a field day piling up estimates etc. According to State farm *************** Placed Fans on the property for "29" days LONGER than needed however State farm agreed to give the fan company "credit" for "9 days instead of 3 days"State farm says by the law the fans should have only been in the home for "3 days" however there was alot of miscommunication abd the fans were left for a total of "32 days" on our property with the fans only blowing less than half of the days. The company is called Servicemaster Restoration By Disaster Recovery Experts. The comoany wants to **** Us and State Farm for "32 days" of storing their fans on our property and it should have only been for "3 days" and was given credit for "9 days".The company has since threatened me with a Lien on my property of $19,957 for their charges and basically extorting us to force State farm to Pay the "full amount" they want or else.State farm has pointed out not only were the fans stored too long they would only pay out $15,527.18. State farm also said it would have been less had they known the fans were not working most of the "32 days" and there was alot of unnecessary charges being added up by the fan company.I have 2 other companies over charge me already(1 paid monies back the second i have reported to you) and this is the third company attempting to over charge me. I do not believe ************ has the right to over charge and use my home as a storage facility for excessive days beyond the state law and i am offering to pay them for the days of usage and also deduct for the das my home stored their fans unnecessarily in an attempt to overcharge me and my insurance policy
