I have a paid subscription to the Frugal Season Discord server owned by **** LLC. On May 14th 2022, my access to the Frugal Season Discord server was revoked without warning, despite being a paid member. I literally did nothing wrong at all to warrant this action. I reached out to the owner via email at ************************* explaining my issue in detail. The owner (***** ****) responded the next day letting me know that the group recently split from another group, and he provided the link to access the Discord server. I attempted to access the Frugal Discord server that I was a paid active member of through the link the owner provided. The link did not open the Discord server when I clicked it. The link did nothing at all because as I tried to explain to ****, my access was removed and I was banned for no known reason. Other member of the group experienced this same situation without an explanation. I wrote back to **** via email, but never heard from him again. The only other information in his response to me was to reach out to a administrator for additional information. This was not possible because I couldn't access the server, so I contacted the WHOP customer support. They could not help me because they only handle billing for the Frugal Season server. I reached out to Frugal Season via twitter DM, but did not receive a response. I recently discovered that on May 16th 2022, my account status was changed from active to "trialing". I am assuming this means I was a trial member. When I attempted to access the discord server again, an error message appeared stating I was banned. I never requested or authorized my subscription to be changed to a trial. My monthly subscription that I've been paying for many months was set to renew on May 29th, but I haven't been able to access the server since May 14th and haven't received communication from Frugal Season or ***** **** regarding my issues. I still don't know why I was banned. Frugal has bad business practices.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/06/26) */ Hello and it's nice to speak to you again. We seem to have resolved this on May 25th with a refund on your last payment along with a notice via email. All users received an update via email about the transition and glad you confirmed to have received that email. We took the liberty of attaching proof of the refunded payments on April 28th due to the lack of access along with a screenshot of the last email we sent where unfortunately we did not hear a response. We appreciate all your questions and concerns to help us offer better support. Business Response /* (-10, 9, 2022/06/26) */ And to address the "trial" issue, we sent a notice to all active users (via email) where users were going to receive 1 week for Free due to the transition we spoke about via email. To make this 7 day free trial possible with our payment processor, we had to add a series of free trial days so honor the 7 day additional period we announced. All users were under trial for the 7 days. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/07/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) **** LLC, doing business as Frugal Season, did switch my account to trial status at some point, but they blocked me from entering the discord site, so I was never able to use my free trial week as promised by the business. When I tried to access the Discord site via the dashboard, a message popped up in Red stating "this user is banned from the guild". The screenshot date of May 25 can be seen in the attached photo. The reason **** provided for banning me was that I defamed the business inside of a competitor platform. That is a completely false statement. I asked to be shown proof of where I said anything to defame the business, but they have not provided it because there is none. They never responded to my request to be shown proof of their accusations. The fact that I was never part of a competitor platform (profit lounge) UNTIL AFTER they banned me is more proof that their claim isn't true. Anything that I ever said prior to being banned was in the Frugal Season server because there was only one server for both groups. It was a partnership, not a competitive platform, but I never said anything negative. I've attached a screenshot from the Frugal Season dashboard showing exactly what I mentioned above. I told the company that I didn't have access and they did nothing about it. I was ignored regarding this trial period. **** told me to contact support on the dashboard, so I did. The support team said that they only deal with dashboard support and that I should contact the company for my issue (see photo). So again, **** gave me the runaround instead of addressing my issue. Therefore, their claim of providing me with a 7 day free trial is false. This was the case for many other members who were also banned for no honest reason. Frugal Season has a history of bad business practices and this is widely known. Again, I am still waiting on my free week with full access to the server without being banned. False advertisement is not ok, and simply changing my Frugal status to free trial without providing access is unacceptable. **** knew that this was the case for many people, but he did nothing about it.
