Date of incident: 04/05/23 | Order # *****D57-BE I placed a pick-up order for 2-Foot-Longs through the Subway App. When we got back we realized both sandwiches were missing requested ingredients. I called the restaurant and spoke to manager named **** and informed him the sandwiches were not prepared how we ordered. Sandwich #1, The Black Forest Ham, was missing ***** Peppers, Jalapenos, Mayo and Yellow Mustard. Sandwich #2, The All-******** ***** was missing More Lettuce, More Onions, Jalapenos, Mayo, Yellow Mustard, Bacon, and was Not Toasted. **** quickly informed me he would need to review the cameras and confirm if the employee made the sandwich correctly or not and to call back in 10 minutes. I was on my lunch break and had no time to waste. I asked **** if I could come down to the restaurant with the sandwiches. He said no because he couldn't make me new sandwiches without reviewing the video. He could have visually confirmed for himself and saved ** both time, but I agreed. I called back **** said he reviewed the video and found that the sandwiches were prepared as ordered. I told him it could not be true because I had the sandwiched in front of me and they were obviously missing ingredients. He said yes, he saw them make as ordered. I asked him to please list the ingredients he saw the employee add. He could not list the ingredients, but could definitely confirm they added the bacon. We went back and forth and he kept going on about the bacon. I said ok but how about the other ingredients Jalapenos, green peppers, Mayo, Mustard? He said yes all of those they added. I asked, so you are telling me you saw the employee put the sandwich in the toaster and add all the ingredients on my order? Because this sandwich is not toasted. He said, I did not check to see if it was toasted, but like I told you I saw the employee do everything right" and hung up on me. I immediately called back. Another employee answered and said **** was on a call with the owner and to call back. I told her I would wait. 3-5 minutes later, **** answers and said maam Im sorry but I cannot help you because to much time has passed since you placed the order I cut him off and said you are making this a bigger deal than it has to be, all I wanted was for you to remake my sandwiches like I ordered and paid for. I even told you I would bring you these two back. Now you have ruined my lunch and my day, when all you had to do was say OK, No Problem. That is what a Good Manager with ********************** Skills would do. Instead, you give me a hard time and call me a liar. Why would I lie and waste my time? We didnt even eat the sandwiches. He replied Im sorry, but I cannot do anything for you. Maybe if you call back later or tomorrow but I cannot guarantee it There was no intent to resolve so I didn't call back. What I would like is a refund in the form of a Digital Gift Card. And for the owner to be aware that unfortunately **** is not the only unprofessional employee there. The sandwich artist are always being careless with the online orders. Many of my friends have had the same experience. And to be honest we sometimes prefer to go to the Subway on Marengo Street for this reason. I really hope this can be resolved....****************** / ************** / ***********************
