I had a return that I needed to ship back to ******, it was 3 x **** **** gift cards. Due to the fact that I was basically sending cash back to ****** I thought going through the ups store would be the safest way to go, since they are the official ****** return center. I made my request through ****** for the return. ****** gave me a qr code to take to the ups store, so they could scan the qr code and pack it and then send the package. All the return information is in the qr code, as far as shipping address, delivery times and so on. I dropped off the 3 x **** gift cards to the young lady at the counter in an opened box, which I then allowed her to scan my qr code to get return information, and then I proceeded to ask her if they would pack up the box, she replied yes they would. She then asked if I wanted a receipt for the drop off, I responded with a yes and she gave me a receipt. I was given a receipt with the tracking number of*******************. It was time stamped at **** pm on Thu 21 JUL 2022 and the package weight **** **** I waited for a couple days and I noticed that I had not received my credit yet of ******** for the full amount of the return. I thought this was highly unusual, since ****** is so quick. I then try to track the package with the tracking number, and I kept getting a message that the package has not been shipped at all ever. I called the ups store on multiple occasions and inquired about transaction with regular store clerks and even the owner, and they repeatedly said that the package was added to a bulk ****** shipment and that they sent it, and they could do nothing for me. I asked to have my transaction examined from the camera, since I have the exact time of the transaction, but they refused to help me out. the camera would prove that I dropped off basically $600 worth of gift cards, and I fill that they (the UPS store) are responsible, after the handoff. I filed a claim through the credit card co. they need more info to help me
