      I paid Stay Gia ********* on December 11, 2021 for a five night stay over ****** I'm *********** for a short-term vacation rental with myself and my elderly parents. When I arrived the listing was nothing like it was advertised. They had pool and hot tub listed in the title but they have been neglected for quite some time & we're not in working order. All of the amenities advertised did not exist or were not in working order.it also aid it came with basics, which it did not. Once I complained, I received no resolution but Stay Gia was very quick to adjust their listing title. They continued to state they were not offering all of the amenities listed but I took photos. They don't even know what they are advertising...? No hot running water to bathe in. This place needs a class action lawsuit filed against them. Unethical, unresponsive ******** *******. The worst part is they are unwilling to make things right or even try.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/07) */ It is very disappointing to be receiving bad reviews and a BBB complaint from a guest who only reached out to us 2 days after check-in. Just within few minutes after she reached out, she immediately posted a bad review for us. She continued doing it, not just one but three times under different accounts. Added to that, we offered her to leave but she decided to stay. She was given a $250 USD compensation after she ruined our reputation. She is a host herself and we're thinking that she's doing it to badmouth other hosts' businesses. The same thing happened to another host last December, as well. She's known for posting bad reviews against other hosts. Obviously, she's doing this for her own good. Disrespectful and rude to other hosts.

      Stay Gia is using Airbnb to rent many apartments. They are making false claims about their apartments, the size, quality and condition of their apartments, and profiting off the deceit. They are not honest, nor upfront in their descriptions, and are directly benefiting off misleading consumers. I have tried resolving the issue with them directly, and was told someone would be calling me. However I have yet to hear from anyone other then the person who monitors their online chat.

On the day that the guest checked-in with us, she immediately reached out and made a fuss about how the unit looked like. She previously stayed with us and was expecting that she'll get the same unit back. In the property she booked, we have multiple units and the unit designation depends on what's available by the time a guest books. When thoroughly explained to her the situation and made her understand, but she responded in an impolite way. She mentioned any other issues and we offered her right away with assistance but she declined the offer. The guest was offered to cancel for a full refund but she declined, too. We provided her a $50 USD compensation as a courtesy. We believe we did her part to assist her, but it felt like the guest was just asking for a free stay.
