The vehicle was taken into Max ******************** to get the transmission fixed at the end of April 2022. They turned over the vehicle around May 10th, stating the vehicle was "fixed". Immediately days after the establishment was contacted informing them the vehicle was still having the same issues as before, I believing the vehicle was in fact not fixed. I took the car back a second time around June. They informed me the transmission was fine, that my vehicle had an issue with the radiator. I declined on letting them fix the vehicle and instead seek alternatives to see if that was actually the reason, due to the radiator being replaced on the vehicle back in 2021. I took the vehicle to *******, Auto Zone and a separate mechanic shop, and all three establishments informed me the radiator was fine in my car. I kept driving the car until late August when it stopped working in the middle of the street, with the same issues where the transmission stalled and wasn't working. I immediately called Max ******************** and informed them of the issue. I had my daughter ************************************* tow the vehicle to their work shop where the car still remains to this day January 2, 2023. I have called over 20 times along with my daughter, trying to get in contact with someone at this establishment. We have been successful around three times. Every time we asked for the vehicle and it's status, the receptionist informed me they hadn't had the time to fix it. The vehicle hasn't been touched at all. I was frustrated and visited the business mid December and she apologized and let me the know the vehicle was going to be fixed within days. The days came and went and nothing. I spent over $1,600.00 and I truly believe they never fixed my transmission since I left it back in April. I have missed my tags because I must preform a smog check and they are hindering me from using my vehicle. I am asking for all of my money back to take the vehicle elsewhere to get it repaired.
