I made a appointment with Hearing Life in ******* ** in March of 2023 to look at and review different hearing aids for me. I was introduce to ******* at Hearing Life, and had an in person meeting with him. I was able to experience how the hearing aids worked, and he gave me all the information with the product. On that day I filled out an application with ************** (Affiliation Allegro Credit) and was approved for the Loan to get them. I had 45 days to try them and return them if they did not work out. I brought the full product back to ******* at Hearing Life in ******* within the time frame because I was unsatisfied with the product. ******* assured me that everything would be taken care, and given a full refund to pay back the loan to Allegro. ******* said I would be given a phone call if any problems came up. They did call me, and said ************** was giving them the run around, and they have spent a total of approximately 15 hours on the phone with them trying to get the return processed for the product. According to the Secretary she was being asked the same questions again and again. So I called after they took the money out of my bank when everything was supposed to be closed. They took money out of my bank without my permission, and I told my bank what had happened and got my bank to refuse payment. I called up ************** 2 times to inform them what was going on, and that the product was returned, and I was told by Hearing life that the other companies they went through to get the loan were closed and that I did not owe any money. ************** however says that all they see on their side is that I owe them money and no paperwork has been started to close the account. Hearing Life says on their side it has been closed and I have received a letter from Synchrony saying to make a payment on the account that I was told was closed. ************** is refusing to resolve the problem and still wanting payment for product that I no longer have.
