Dear Better Business Bureau,I wish to lodge a formal complaint against Living the Dream Luxury Rental concerning my rental of Olympic ********************* from November 28th to December 3rd, which was booked through Vrbo.During my stay, I encountered multiple issues that were not only unresolved but also handled with a concerning lack of professionalism and customer care. The most pressing issues include:1. **Unreturned Deposit**: Despite the terms of the rental agreement, my $3000 deposit has not been refunded, even after nearly three months post-rental. Repeated attempts to communicate with the host have resulted in no resolution.2. **Infestation and Disrepair**: The property was in a state of neglect, with a termite infestation clearly visible on the deck and structural concerns such as uneven flooring. This not only affected the enjoyment of the premises but also raised health and safety concerns.3. **Non-Responsiveness**: The property manager has shown a consistent pattern of unresponsiveness. Despite numerous messages and calls, there has been no adequate action taken to address my concerns, as detailed in the text message correspondence.4. **Amenities Not as Advertised**: The amenities promised, such as a functional TV and kitchen appliances, were not in working order, which significantly detracted from the overall experience and value of the rental.The total cost of the rental was $7,205.00, including the $3,000 deposit, for a 5-night stay, as shown in the Vrbo payment summary. The lack of action from both the host and **** in addressing and rectifying these issues has prompted me to seek your intervention.I have attached photographic evidence of the conditions and all related correspondence for your reference. It is my hope that the BBB can assist in rectifying this situation and holding Living the Dream Luxury Rental accountable for their actions. Regards,Nia
