Date of pickup: 01/04/24 at around 2pm There was no money exchanged. I was sent to this particular location for a repair to my Bissell carpet cleaner. This location is authorized by Bissell to repair their products. I submitted my carpet cleaning machine for repair on 27th January 2023 and was told to call back on 2nd January ****. However, I fell ill and couldn't make the call. I attempted to call on 4th January ****, but without my repair ticket, the employee who answered the phone was unhelpful and hung up on me. When I found my ticket, the employee returned the machine to me with a partially filled liquid tank and became upset when I asked him to drain it. The employee did not ask me for any identification when I checked out. Additionally, he did not provide any instructions or a summary of repairs made to the machine. I was too intimidated by the employee to ask for a summary of repairs, and when I contacted ******* directly, they could not provide any information about the repairs. It appears that my machine may have sat idle for several days without any repairs being made. I would like to receive a summary of the repairs made unless there is any suspicion of fraudulent activity.

STAY AWAY I took my Miele canister vacuum in to replace a burned-out motor. The price was high but I have a kid and two cats so a vacuum is a necessity. I picked it up a few weeks later and paid the repairs IN FULL. When I got home and used it, I immediately noticed that the cord take-up mechanism was no longer working correctly. It had been working perfectly when I dropped it off. They also put a hideous -smelling air freshener into the vacuum bag without neither my permission nor notice. The noxious smell was so powerful it filled whatever room I was cleaning and it penetrated the brand-new $50 HEPA filter they installed as part of the repairs. When I took it back to have these things fixed, they apologized about the air freshener that they put into the bag, but the shop owner *** refused to recognize that the cord take-up mechanism was broken. Im obsessive and would never own a vacuum with a lazy cord. Plus my wife has a brand new Miele canister that works correctly and just like mine used to work. The shop owner *** refused to acknowledge that there was a problem with the mechanism and is now refusing to return my fully-paid vacuum. In other words, Boulevard Vacuum has stolen it. **** last words to me before he slammed the phone down was that Ill have to take him to court to get it back. I also called ***** to report them and found out they are NOT an authorized Miele repair shop. The place has the feel of a used-car dealer with all the associated stereotypes. Avoid at all costs!!!!
