I took my cat here to receive emergency care for a suspected diabetes diagnosis. After charging twice as much as other facilities, they confirmed the diagnosis and had a nurse show me how to administer insulin in their parking lot. She instructed me to administer 5x times the amount than what was actually prescribed. As a result my cat had two hyperglycemic episodes and almost died each time. Upon my last visit, they realized that they messed up and provided me with instructions that should have been provided the first time. They also offered a $70 discount on new charges and thought that would be sufficient as a consolation gift. Considering that I paid them over $5000, that is a slap in the face. I refused to pay the additional money they wanted me to pay and they stopped all communication with me and stated they would be sending the charges to a credit agency. They stated it's my word against theirs since the wrong instructions happened while I was alone with their nurse and there is no one else that can prove my claims. I have proof that they did not provide correct instructions since they gave discharge paperwork that was more specific and had a vet assistant call me ahead of time and cover the information for my last visit. That did not happen during the first visit and the original nurse wasn't even sure of what the feeding schedule should be for my cat while giving the insulin. She had to go back inside and confirm that with a vet. I was also charged $100 without my consent on a day that my cat was not treated (7/27). Their staff refused to provide me with a reason for the charge or an invoice.

$********* I took my son ******* here and was assaulted by two of the workers who made transphobic slurs. Laughed at me for calling the police and mocked me while the police were filing a report due to assault and battery at Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital where ******* was under their care for several days. The lack of professionalism is alarming. After spending over $4k at their hospital, I picked up ******* and he was bloody with no clear attempt of them trying to clean him up before pick up. I called with concerns because ******* still has not urinated in now nearing 24 hours since being home. When I called the hospital they immediately told me the next thing I'd have to do is a $*** surgery. I drove to the hospital only to be mocked, turned away, assaulted, and received no solution for my cat. A urinary obstruction is fatal is left untreated. I tried to seek help for my pet and in return was assaulted. I've called the clinic to speak with the supervisor and they refuse to let me speak with them, they said they are not in (when 30 min prior they said ****** the supervisor will be in around 12pm). I want my ******* to get better. Apart from them hitting me, breaking my phone for trying to record, ******* is still unable to urinate and this can be fatal

This hospital charged me ridiculously high prices to treat and heal my pet, which I paid for. My pet came home, still sick and not cared for, when I tried to take him back to the hospital, they refused to take in my pet and they assaulted my partner. They took money and provided no care and then when I went back to get the care I paid for, I was turned away. I would like a refund for the services they charged me and did not provide.
