In October 2022, I paid $399 to Illustration Wizard, whose parent company is The Web Bench. There was also a money back guarantee.I was supposed to receive 10 illustrations, and never got one of them. We made some progress on concepts, but the project manager was changed several times, often with nobody telling me until I reached out to them. There were consistent delays in communication. I never got clear answers as to the progress, and they consistently tried to upsell me on things that had nothing to do with my original project.By January, we had long missed the deadline for the project. I NEVER received one of the images I paid for. In January, I requested a refund from *****, as per the agreement. He told me it might take 1-3 months, and I said that was fine. I should have just charged back my credit card, but I wanted to handle things in a professional manner.**********, he told me he would get back to me and he never did. I reached out to him several times over the course of next last six months and was told at least one more time that he would get back to me. He never did.Eventually, the company stopped returning my calls, texts, and emails.It was only when I called from a DIFFERENT number, did anybody speak to me. I was told that I would receive a refund in **** days, and at least a call back within that time.Nobody called me back.I spoke to somebody two weeks ago and was told that the billing department would get back to me. They never did.***** gave me 4 different emails to send my request to. All of them bounced.I left another voicemail demanding that somebody call me back.Nobody called me back. Now I cant get a hold of anybody. $399 is a measly sum of money to refund, but I have nowhere else to turn to get my money back. Please help.
