On May the 14th 2022 I purchased an concourse radiator hose from TheMoparShop in the amount of $83.58 shipping included, through the ebay auction site. Hose was received and installed days later. Said hose started leaking and after many attempts to stop the leaking I discovered the hose was defective. I contacted the owner of said MoparShop and he promised a replacement or a refund. That was Oct 15 2022. The owner has not given a replacement or a refund and has stopped responding to any and all emails from me. Additional info in attached files.Business response

BBB,
When the customer first contacted me, he made it sound like he just bought the lower radiator hose and was having problems with it leaking. I stated I would replace it. When I received the hose, he demanded a refund. I looked up his purchase, it was May 2022, over 5 months ago.
My policy on returns thru E-Bay is 30 days. I tried to refund him thru E-Bay but they wouldn't let me since it was over 90 days. I emailed him several times that I couldn't refund him thru E-Bay but he said he paid with pay-pal. I get payments thru E-Bay not pay-pal. I needed his pay-pal account info to refund him. I refunded him the amount that E-Bay paid me less the tax amount which is collected by E-bay.
I pressure tested the hose, which had rust deposits inside, it was fine no leaking. I believe the reason for the possibility of the hose leaking is due to the probability of a rusty water pump/pitted housing. I base this on the residue that was left on the inside of the hose when it was returned to me. This could be why it didn't seal properly.
I have sold hundreds of these hoses over the last 10 years with absolutely no complaints. This is also true with my call to the manufacturer.
Enclosed are copies of emails sent by the customer threatening to ruin my business/reputation over a radiator hose that he claimed was leaking, 5 month after he bought it.
Thank you,
Ed. *******
