Our drain was plugged. We called Discount Plumbing. They gave us an estimate to replace a saggy pipe. They told us they'd do a number of things they "couldn't put on the bid because they're giving us a discount and didn't want to get in trouble by their supervisor". They said they'd give the list of "extra" things after job completion. They rescheduled us from TH to **, then came Thursday without warning, interrupting my work day. They told us it was so costly because it was going to involve several workers and 1-2 full days. The job took maybe 4 hours, 2 workers, one was new and sat around. We renovated our yard ourselves by hand, and they butchered it. It's going to take days to fix. We have rock over plastic weed guard. They broke our main, shredded the guard, mixed the rocks with the shredded plastic, rosin paper, bricks they had taken from our yard (without consent), dirt, and other debris. Had they come on the time agreed, we would have prepared the yard for them. But now we're out a ton of money that I'm not convinced was a fair price, and still have days worth of work to do and money to clean up their mess, and when we asked for the full list of what they did, they said the original bid was it. They said they didn't know what we were talking about, that they misspoke, getting us confused with some other customer, but those items are why we reluctantly agreed to the cost. On top of that, when they "completed the job", they said it was going to be more money than originally bid because they replaced 20ft of pipe, and tried to tell us we were lucky they "replaced 10ft for free". However, in looking at the bid, they bid for 20ft total, that was included in the bid. When confronted, they backtracked and said "oh, up to 20ft". When we expressed our frustrations, they took $200 off the price, and said they'd get back to us about them destroying our yard, but never called. I messaged ****, and sent pictures, he said he would call me back and never did.Business response

Thanks for reaching out. The underground manager, ****, called this morning and didn't get a response. He then went onsite and the female that answered the door asked that he come back later.
