To: CEO, ************ Chairman, ********** ***** Administrative Officer and Directors of Grocery Outlet.Today, Friday May 24, 2024 at approximately 2:15pm, as a paying customer of your ********************************************* store in **********/*********, **, I witnessed an absolute frightening display of VERBAL ABUSE towards one of your employees.Perpetrated by a supervising co-worker by the name of Shrula.As I was checking out, I heard someone yelling very loudly a few isles away.As I continued to hear this person literally yelling and making a commotion, I actually considered leaving the store for my safety.When I moved closer to check out, I was appalled to see that not only was this person an employee at the store, but to my extreme shock she is an individual deemed to be a supervisor/management.What really caught my attention after hearing her, was actually seeing that she was yelling and directing her anger towards one of her male co-workers. Also an employee of Grocery Outlet.She yelled at him to get the f****** cart!Just as I was questioning whether I heard, what I thought I heard, she actually yelled again, I said I need a f****** basket! Didnt you hear me the first time, god!?!I glared at her in disbelief and disgust as she just stood there flailing her arms in the air, shaking her head in annoyance.Her behavior was completely inappropriate, and despicable.Often times there are young children that come shopping with their parents. In this case, Shrulas irate, aggressive conduct would be scary, and confusing for a young child. To say the least.The way in which she chose to communicate to this GrOwN man, by shouting at him and berating him in front of the entire store was completely foul, unnecessary and distasteful!Absolutely NO ONE deserves to be ABUSED while they are simply trying to do their job and make an honest living!And Yes, I use the word ABUSE, because thats exactly what it is!ACTION is needed!(More to say, not enough space...)
