We had a water leak in our condo. The HOA sent the plumber. I own my unit and have been waiting 5 days for the report from the plumber's office so I can move forward with my homeowners insurance. I was told yesterday by the lady in the office that I would have the report by 10 pm last night. I still don't have the report and apparently the report she provided to the HOA is not in the correct format. I have also requested pictures that the plumber took while he was in the attic and I also have not received those. I don't understand why this is so co complicated to get a simple report and photos for my records.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/29) */ In response to the complaint from **** ******** she is not our customer. We did respond to her unit but it is through a contract that we have with the HOA - Principal AMC. The report and pictures were provided to HOA, who is the one that contacted us and paid us for the leak in the ceiling. Our services were paid for and not contracted through the home owner ****. Unfortunately due to **** not being our customer we could not provide her with the report that was requested. I let them know I did not have access to the report they requested. I offered to try and get authorization and get the report to them as soon as possible. The HOA has the report and our portion of this job is completed. I would also like to mention that the service call was done after hours and completed the same night. I believe we provided great service and did nothing to have a complaint warranted. I was told by the representative that I spoke with that I would receive a copy of the report from their office after having spoke with them and my HOA multiple times. I have received the report, but never received the pictures that the plumber took. As far as I know, the representative did receive authorization to release all relevant information to the leak and damage in our unit. The representative did not want to send us the report after multiple conversations of saying she would because she stated my husband was "rude" because after having being told she would send the report to us, she said she couldn't because she was driving. During the final conversation I had with her she proceeded to hang up the phone mid conversation and refused to send the report and pictures.
