      While in the store my phone rang immediately I was attacked by a man with ***** and goatee and dark sunglasses and advised he advised me several times not to use my phone in the store which was a lie. He became aggressive and threatening towards me making me fear for my safety.

        My name is ***************** I am the owner of Yosemite Gifts and **********. I have been in the retail business for 40 years and never had any type of complaints. I received two letters from you today together. One was the first notice and then a 2nd notice but just received them together. I tried to call you but you were already gone for the day.

      I never received a complaint from the person and do not know anything about a refund or exchange issues. I have a large sign on my front register stating that all sales are finally. But when someone comes in with the receipt and wants to exchange it (as long as there is nothing wrong with the item and not been used) we always try to accommodate the person.

      As for the cell phone usage in my store is not allowed. We have a huge sign on the front door. We did not want to have to do this but we were going to close our store down because of the amount of theft that was going on in the store using cell phones. People come in and work in teams texting each other to keep the sales person busy. I got ******** stollen in silver chains, ******** stollen in gold nuggets and ******** in turquoise. Then some people keep taking the phone in and out of the pocket consistently while they are steeling things and put in the pocket pretending to get the phone out. The store is busy (all at once and too hard to watch) so we decided just to in-place this rule. Since we have stoped the phone usage our theft has gone way down but the people that come in the store that is up to no good will not respect the rules and start yelling at you. When we have to tell the same people to please put the phone away while your in the store on the 3rd times we ask them to leave the store. 

      Most people we tell that take there phone out we say, you must not have seen our sign on the front door but we do not allow cell phone usage in the store. They say no problem sorry we did not see the sign and some will ask why and we explain. Some come up and say I wanted to take a picture of this item to see if my other half wants this. We allow them to and thank them for asking. But some people we tell that there is no cell phone usage ignore you and keep doing it and then when we ask them to leave the store they cuss you out. 

      We did have a problem with a gentleman he almost went over the counter and started a fight. We have witness that saw how violent the customer got. The lady said, wow why would someone get that mad and you can clearly see your sign. We also have cameras here to review what happened. 

      I never received a call or asked about any refund or exchange. And the person that got so irate at us for telling him no cell phone usage in the store was with a lady. I do not know if it is the same person. But that is only problem we had around the time and they did not purchase anything, they were ask to leave because they kept using the phone and ignoring the rules.
