I took my car in for a misfire in the number 5 cylinder and over heating and an issue starting. I was told by the manager that they replaced the coil packs and did a tune up and fixed an issue with a coolant system sensor. Got the car back and it continued to do everything I brought it in for . They told me to bring it back so I did and seven days later they tell me its the battery, so I go in and the battery is sitting in the floor of the office and my car has not been touched. I told them to give me the battery and u paid for it and took the car .The check engine light came back on telling me it was a misfire in the number 5 cylinder and was still overheating. I took it to another mechanic and was told it was a blown head gasket. I gave him the paperwork from Frankenstein motors of the work they did and he told me that Frankenstein did not replace anything that was on my invoice. It was all old and thats why I still have a misfire on the number 5

In early Novemver my car began having troubles that I initially had concerns that the problem was the car transmission. The car would sometimes not shift into higher gears (automatic transmission) without revving the engine and when it shifted the was a noticeable jerk to the car. I took the car to Frankenstein Motors because they worked with my employer. I informed them of the nature of what problems my car was having and my concerns that it was the transmission. After diagnosis Frankenstein told me the problem was electrical in nature and replacing spark plugs and electrical could would fix the issue. I ok'd the fix. After getting my car back it seemed to run better but still not as good as previously for a couple weeks. Then the same shifting issue returned and began to decline. I drove it as little as possible until I could take it back to be looked at in mid January. This next diagnosis they told me that the issue was that several engine and transmission mounting were broken and that the car was not shifting correctly because with broken mountings the transmission would twist when trying to shift. I asked the garage representative if it was possible that those mountings were broken in my previous visit and if driving for that in-between period woth a transmission and engine that were not properly mounted could have caused further damage. The representative said he did not know if the mounting issue was there previously and that there were no notes about that from my pervious visit. Left with no other vehicle I struggled to get the money to pay for these new repairs and then ok'd the repair. When they finished they sent me an invoice for the repaired mountings and informed that the transmission was in the process of failing and the shifting issues would continue. The quote for the transmission work was about $4000. At this point i had paid roughly $1200 in parts and labor and my car was not running reliably.

** november I took my 2009 dodge journey(I just bought from a used lot no issues ) to frankenstein motors for a simple fix, a thermostat housing leak - he had my vehicle from nov2021 untill about April/2022 He told me he had a fuse box relay issue (I was charged for it )There was an issue reprogramming it and he had to send it to dodge out of town without my consent !!!!! I had just put a brand new $230 battery in. Before taking it to this mans shop !He charged me for a new battery ! Which the vehicle stopped running less than a month after he worked on it - luckily we had another vehicle and put it aside for the time being ,he has Accused me of clearing vehicle codes before I took it to him, and then toasted someones animals around in my vehicle leaving a dog leash in my car . Aside from all theese issues I have pics of messages from me to him directly and will provide if necessary for proof! I work ***** hour days and my wifes car is going downhill so I went to start the dodge journey - no power, looked at the battery and it is by far FAR from new , looks like something out of a junk yard (supposedly 3years warranty) I messaged him direct in messenger where it was warrantied through him or where he took my vehicle without consent , and he blocked me - will not respond . My question is what did he really do with my vehicle the 6+months he had it in his possession?! My mileage is not far from the mileage when I dropped it off to him proving it had not been in service . I would like a full refund and for him to fix the vehicle or pay for another shop because now I do not trust his busisness or ethics !! From calling to get info on my vehicle and theydidnt have any info in the computer to leaving him a brand new clean detailed vehicle and picking it up full of white animal hairs !!! And now the battery issue - I wonder how many others he is manipulating and taking advantage of ! Something needs to be done here and fast ! Please help
