      Went into the shop as I considered purchasing an e-bike. As I'm in my 80's, I decided I wanted to come back to the store with my son to get his opinion before buying it. The store assistant asked me to pay a deposit for the bike, but didn't ask me to review or sign any paperwork (just gave me a black/unsigned paper stating the amount of the deposit and purchase price of the bike). When I brought my son back with me, we decided the bike was probably too unsafe for someone of my age and therefore we did not purchase. However, the assistant in the shop would not refund my deposit. No reason given. I think this is very unethical, and they should never have accepted a deposit from me in the first place. The website indicates they have a refund policy (taking 3% of fees for credit card processing), but nothing there about any deposit. There is no information about the owner or management team on the website, and this is very unusual. My only way to contact them is a gmail address or visiting a store which doesn't even operate usual opening hours.

      Shortly after my son purchased a new Sur-*** from ***************, Owner/Manager of this company, we had problems with the **bike. We took it in for repair and paid the service fee to diagnose the problem. We were called in a couple days saying the bike was ready. When we took the bike out in the parking lot to load in our truck, the bike failed. So we left the bike to be repaired properly. After about 4-5 days, they said the bike was ready. When we picked it up, he said the throttle was bad and replaced it. Even though the bike was new, nothing was covered under warranty. So we paid the part fee and left. Within 2 weeks, the bike failed again. Appeared it was the new throttle he just put on the bike. He said his work or parts are not warranted and we would need to pay a 3rd time to get it repaired. So we ordered a new throttle from the internet and installed it our self as super easy to do. The bike has been working perfectly ever since. We inspected the part he sold us, and their is no damage or marks. We asked to meet with him to discuss. He ignored my text. I have bought 20 plus motorcycles over the years, and this was the worst experience I have ever encountered. Not only was he rude, but he implied it was our fault the bike wasn't working. I worked in service at a motorcycle shop for a couple years, and I can tell you the things he said were totally false. My take, do your homework before buying from a dealer and understand their service and warranty procedures before you buy the bike.
