On 5/12/2022. we paid $1.000 deposit to *** and ******, who wrote the contract for Reliance Development Construction (RDC) company. *** and ****** said that the RDC company is very expensive because they have to get permits, call neighbor (s), their workers are insured while on my property, and they do whatever it takes for the job to be done correctly. RDC is a 5 stars, and they are not a hangman. Within a week **. ***** came to our house to remeasure with his cell phone 3 D, to pick-up down payment $6,393.00, and find out my husband credit score to get a loan for the the final payment. The same day **. ***** qualified my husband for $50,000, my husband and I said no. We only want a loan for $6,393.00. My husband and I was going to be busy with personal things for the rest of year, so we hired RDC company to install our fence thinking that it was going to be stress free. After back and forth issues, the owner **. ***** remarks was that we bugged him too much., Finally, RDC workers came to install a part of the fence, We had to put a stop because RDC worker was not following property line boundaries as per our survey blueprint that my husband and I paid for 2018. It was put on hold until we got clarification on our blueprint survey from the surveyor. We have a telephone history with **. ***** that he say one thing, then he retract from his statements. **. ***** does not follow the written contract rules. Later we found out from GreenSky, the loan company that **. ***** got paid on 5/18/22 for the work being completed. The job was not even started yet. Before the work done, **. ***** already got 2/3 payments plus $1,000 deposit. And per contract stipulation is that he gets pay in increments as the work is being done. Adding **. ***** has over 2 months vinyl fence materials and cement bags, which causing inconvenience and an unsafe environment for the people who live here. The above materials are to be brought in after the demolition residues is hauled away.

We have a contractual agreement with Reliance Development and Construction signed on June 14th, 2022 for the amount of $9000, but a verbal agreement for a 500 discount due to the company not meeting their timeline. The first three payments were made in full, and the final agreed-upon payment in the amount of $2100 was to made at the completion of the project. In good faith, we paid, $1050 before the job was completed. As of today August 11th, 2022, the work is incomplete, and the bathroom is unusable. The owner is attempting to extort more money for the project despite stating that no more money would be charged, he has not met his agreed-upon completion date of August 6th, 2022 and has made no attempt to finish the work. The owner is unprofessional and unreliable, we would like the $1050 returned since the work was not completed and we will no longer work with this company.
