Owner ************************* became verbally abusive to me after I called recently for a quote for his services. During the call, ****** discovered, and then became furious, that I had some months earlier alerted him to stay off of my late mother's property. While on the property, ****** had left a note asking whether his services were still needed and I had written simply to "stay off the property" on the back of the note. At the time, I mistakenly thought a different pool company had left the note, a company I had fired after my mother died, because work contracted for, was not done. Meantime, during the call with ******, he informed me he had permission (illegally) from a neighbor of my mother to enter the property and service the pool when she was ill and hospitalized. ****** said there was an agreement between the neighbor and my mother to allow the pool work when she was ill, but no such agreement could have existed because my mother's illness prevented her from speaking. And I certainly had not given permission to ****** to enter the property. As the call continued, I asked what dates ****** was on the property and he became more and more agitated with me over the questioning. I calmly questioned ******, but he became furious I would simply write a note telling him to stay off the property. I asked ****** to calm down, saying there was a simple mix up, but he became unhinged and started yelling and screaming profanities at me when I informed him I would file a complaint over his conduct. He then erupted with more obscenities and breathing heavily, he called me the * word and said I was a "psycho" and hurled other insults at me as well. He then hung up and I immediately texted ****** asking for an apology. He then called me back and started screaming and cursing at me all over again, threatening me not to file a complaint against him, A warning to others who might consider using this business: the owner is extremely unprofessional and exhibits violent tendencies.
