Bottom line up front, unreliable and untrustworthy. My 2007 Wrangler went in for a transmission link replacement, break booster replacement, and a check engine light assessment. The link and breaks were addressed. I was told to order a new computer for the vehicle and bring it back in regard to the check engine light. I was charged $2000. All together I spent roughly $3000. including a new pre-programedcomputer and a rental car while the jeep was in their possession. The Jeep was also returned to me with the **** traction control, and brake lights on.At the request of Menifee Transmission, and their offer to wave the cost of labor, I decided to give them another chance to correct their failure. Thepre-programedcomputer ($780.) was provided to them. One day later I received a call from Menifee Transmision informing me that the vehicle was all finished and that I needed to settle up my bill. I was informed that I owed them nearly $800. I explained to them that I provided the part. The employee then apologized and said that it would only be $250. for the programing of the computer. I again corrected him, in that the part had been providedpre-programed. The employee sighed and stated that he would call me back.Upon receiving the vehicle for the second time from Menifee Transmission's incapable hands, I was again thoroughly disappointed. Within a half hour of driving my vehicle the check engine light came back on. Upon scanning the vehicle with my personal scanner, I discovered 8 unresolved codes.I called Menifee Transmission justifiably disappointed and was yelled over by the inexperienced and unprofessional service writer.Menifee Transmission has utterly failed. I will be pursing legal proceedings against them.Whether nefarious or grossly incompetent, I do not know. Neither are acceptable. From start to finish the entire experience was one expensive blunder after the next. Save yourself the trouble and find a trustworthy shop.

We are a shop that stands by our work and these allegations are outlandish and lack an understanding of automotive repair. We are a shop that values all of our customers, their time and their money. These claims are misleading, defamatory and slanderous. On 11-28-2023 you towed your Wrangler, which was not operational at all, to our shop. Your concern was that the vehicle was not shifting into gear, the brake pedal was extremely hard and there was a check engine light. Our diagnostic found that your shift cable was broken, and your brake booster had a large internal vacuum leak. While under your vehicle we noticed that your evap cannister was completely ripped out of the vehicle, due to possible off roading. You authorized the 3 repairs. The cost for these repairs was as follows:Brake Booster Part cost: $374.04 Labor Charge (2hrs): $300 Automatic Transmission Shift Cable Assembly part cost: $318.00 Labor Charge (2hrs): $300 Evaporation Control Canister part cost: $163.18 Labor Charge (1 hour): $250 After all 3 repairs were completed your total bill for our shop parts and labor was: $1,981.18 without tax.It was $2,056.10 once tax was added. Now with your vehicle running and drivable you requested that we diagnose the check engine light which was having oxygen sensor hard codes. The diagnostic found that there was 2.5 volt with an open feed return signal coming from the **** We replaced all 4 oxygen sensors for FREE to confirm that there was no short in the sensor. We checked wiring to the *** and found all the wiring had good continuity and proper ground. After being very thorough with the diagnostic we found that the *** was faulty.Upon your picking the vehicle up on Saturday you immediately called accusing us of not doing our job. However, we fixed all of your concerns and requests and we were on stand by for the ***, which you purchased yourself from an outside source. The *** light was noted on the invoice, and we did inform you of it. Even though we did mention the *** light being on, you proceeded to call and yell at us claiming it was never there. Again, you brought your vehicle on a tow truck not working. We called you back, in an effort, to resolve any concerns you had. We drove to your home and picked up the vehicle. We installed the computer, for free, that you purchased and after the installation we confirmed that ****** hard codes were fixed because the scanner was reading 5 volt closed feed. We advised you that the *** light was resolved, we test drove the vehicle for quite some time and the only code that was triggered was P0430 which we advised you that you would need a bank 2 catalytic converter. We then drove the vehicle back to your home for your convenience. We informed you if there was anything you needed to let us know. You called again, yelled at our service writer, and hung up on him without trying to resolve any issues. Your vehicle came into our shop in extremely bad condition. There are numerous issues that need to be handled, fixing a few things will not fix everything.Your threat of legal action and the history of the reviews you have posted for other shops just in the month of December, shows that you are a person that will never be happy with a service and is potentially looking to get a service done for free. We installed your O2 sensors for free, parts and labor, which would typically cost about $800. We installed the computer for free which installation typically costs $150.If you choose to follow through with your threats, we will counter **** We have all necessary documentation and evidence that we did nothing wrong. We have done everything for you and went above beyond. There are some people that will never be happy no matter what someone does.
