I hired MVP Services to clean a Lazy Boy reclining set (love seat and sofa) and 5 carpets. The Lazy Boy reclining set was supposed to conditioner solution that gives a soft feel to the fabric. The owner said, he would include it for free. The fabric felt rough and not soft. The primary complaint is the 5 carpets. MVP Services agreed to take the carpets to their shop and clean them then when thoroughly dried wrap them plastic and deliver them to the garage at my house. Its been 6 months and they only delivered 1 carpet which was wrapped the long side (14 ft) which doesnt fit standing up in garage. I have talked with the owner **** (last name?) and hes promised deliver the other carpets for the last 6 months. I had to schedule a civil court claim just to get my carpets back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING THEY SAY THEY CAN DO. **** comes across nice and will negotiate pricing to get your business and then does a horrible job and never delivers making **** a liar and a cheat.Review from Leishea M

Myself and my family has reached out to tony and gave him the benefit of the doubt, thinking he must be busy and we were understanding for far to long. We first contacted tony when our water flooded out our kitchen and into our living room area. He told us it will be fixed and he and the other guys got to work on it. We were able to replace our flooring and everything that got soaked. We had just had a baby and already had 2 older ones, so we really wanted this done fast and in a timely manner. He got people to come out and fix our flooring and replaced our cabinets that were effected by it, and by the way the guy he had work for him to replace our cabinets had no clue on how to do it, he was just told by tony to get it done, so the poor guy had to read the directions and try and figure it out and hope they come out good enough to hold up. As for our flooring we had the cheapest flooring put back in making us think it would be better then what we had. Which i get it our flooring wasn't top notch but were in a modular home and the flooring we had was better then what he had, he put in this flimsy ass vinyl flooring, mine as well put construction paper down. We had the hard wood click in flooring and it held up better. So later on our flooring started cracking and chipping , its peeling up and the corners have stabbed into my kids feet and we have to wear shoes all the time because it hurts to walk over our floor. I have tried to get in contact with tony and he has answered and told us he would be by to check it out and look at everything, I have sent him texts and email with pictures showing him our problem and still nothing has happened. My mom has even try to contact him and still no response, I wish it didn't have to come down to doing this but it is ridiculous to have this business and try and make a good name for your business and you treat the people who have paid with such disrespect and negligence.Review from Mary C.

I have a history with MVP. I have used Tony before to paint previous jobs so when the time came to paint my house, I included him in the estimate. His estimate was fair, I was familiar with his company’s work, so I didn’t hesitate to hire him again. The painter was very professional and did a great job prepping his work and painting but then things went wrong…very wrong. When it came time to paint my kitchen cabinets, the painter prepped the kitchen and didn’t take off the knobs from the stove. My daughter heard the ignitor making clicking sounds and went to turn it off. When she torn off the paper that was covering the stove, the oxygen ignited the flame and the kitchen caught on fire quickly. Luckily the fire department was quick to respond, and the damage was only to the kitchen. This was a terrible mistake by the painter, and I know that accidents happen, and Tony said he would make things right, so I believed him but getting him to make things right has been near to impossible. He makes promises he can’t keep by promising workers will be there on certain days, makes deadlines he can’t keep and just doing unprofessional work. No, I did not use him to rebuild my kitchen and to be honest, I’m not even sure he has a general contract license because I have asked him for it, yet he has never produced it even though he said he would. He promised to paint my garage, which was the least he could do when he said he would pay my deductible but never did, since I was getting another company to do the flooring and cabinets because I couldn’t rely on him to do the job on time and right, but I figured a paint job wouldn’t be a problem. I was wrong again. He committed to getting the job done before my new flooring and cabinets came in. I gave him a three-week lead time and I still needed to hound him every day. He missed every deadline he promised he would make and even sent out a painter one day who left before doing the job because Tony didn’t have the supplies on hand needed to do the job, yet Tony kept telling me he wanted to “make it right.” Needless to say, he only painted the job after the floors were installed and a day before the cabinets were installed because I literally couldn’t find another painter due to the short notice, he forced me into. Instead of hiring someone to do the worker, which he normally does as he is more of a project manager, he and another worker did the job themselves. He even told me that the estimates he was getting to paint the garage was $900 which he thought was too much, so he purchased a sprayer instead to do the job himself. The job was to have been completed when by 5 p.m. yet at 5 p.m., they were just getting started. To make matters worse, I left them at the house to finish the job because I had a previous commitment, and the job was done poorly. I came back to complete spots missed, doors with drips of paint, over spraying everywhere, drops of paint on my newly epoxy flooring and dust over paint! Seriously???? When I pointed these things out, he responds with “you’re killing me smallz.” He keeps reminding me that he painted my garage for free when I point out the mistakes and I keep reminding him that he never paid my deductible and that one of his painters cause a house fire so the right thing to do, if he truly stands by that, is to reimburse me for mistakes I need to correct based on his lack of quality on his part. And not once, has he apologized for any of these mistakes! I paid to have another painter do the job correctly because I couldn’t trust him to do the job right and of course Tony didn’t offer to do the right thing and pay my new painter. He wanted me to put trust in him to repaint the garage which I explained to him time and time again that his word and trust meant nothing to me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY—YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Tony lacks professionalism, is unethical and makes promises he can’t keep just to get the job at least when it comes to projects outside of his true specialty which I believe is carpet/furniture cleaning. For a company that caused my kitchen fire, I should have received extra customer care to make things right but yet I didn’t…in fact he has only continued to provide pain and suffering and now is claiming that the kitchen fire was started by my daughter or a faulty stove…a stove that was less than two years old.Review from Mary C.
