Purchased July 18, 2022 a Forest River Heritage Glen RV from RV Supercenter on ******* *** ** ******** *** In 52 weeks of ownership, the RV had been in the dealership for 22 weeks getting warranty repairs. The first 5 weeks, the Sales Mgr at the time, Glen Page, admitted the dealership dropped the ball by not ordering a single part needed to complete the numerous problems discovered during initial inspection. That’s where the headaches started. Since our first trip in November 2022 and then another in June 2023, we’ve run into non stop repair issues, lack of communication from dealership , excuses for delays when contact finally made, all while our warranty expiration is closing in. We brought our anger and frustration to our salesmanJosh back in February 2023 and he promised to discuss with owner, Brian Seitel With no response for weeks we texted Josh asking why we’d not heard from anyone? His response was we’d receive a call - well that never happened . Upon dropping RV off again in June 2023 we again spoke to Josh and and new Sales Mgr. Chris. They fed us a word salad stating they’d speak to owner, Brian Seitel and try to get warranty extension. Again nothing. Two weeks later after I called Chris, since he ghosted us , I said we’d be in in two days to pick up RV and we wanted some resolve. The owner once again was no show and another BS word salad from sales mgr but with promise we’d hear from Brian Seitel within next two days. Owner finally called Monday afternoon with no remorse, no concern of issues and acting as if he knew little about problems. Said he’d call Forest River and get back to us. Five days later, zip! They are the biggest group of liars we’ve ever encountered. They rode their stall tactics to the day the warranty expired which was probably their original intent. Their dealership admittedly drop the ball and provided shotty repairs and no customer service! They’ve made no attempt to provide any warranty extension as was discussed.

      Dear Mr. ***** ***********************,
We are in receipt of your concern regarding repair issues being completed in a timely manner. We understand the frustration that can occur when there are repairs needing to be completed and we apologize for any lack of communication that occurred.
Despite difficulties that arose and a timeline that was unsatisfactory we are thankful we were able to complete all necessary repairs for you under your manufacturers warranty. Due to the delays, we were also able to successfully negotiate an additional six month extension of the manufacturers warranty between yourself and Forest River. (See attached)

      Dear ****************,
We are in receipt of your concern over the warranty coverage you purchased on 1/11/2021. Since this coach was a used 14 year old diesel motorhome and was being sold As Is an extended service contract was offered to you through Compass RV Protection. The Platinum level unfortunately was not available for a unit of this age but a Gold level coverage was put in to place. Being that was not the coverage you originally thought you had in place we did provide you with two available options: a full refund or a partial refund and keep in place Gold coverage. You elected to receive a partial refund and accepted the Gold coverage. We apologize for any misunderstanding at the time of your purchase and are glad we were able to resolve this for you in a satisfactory manner with some level of coverage for your motorhome.

I purchased a Toy Hauler Travel Trailer on 6/4 of this year, Since camping in it and having it parked here at my house we have noticed a loud popping sound coming from the trailer. We took it to where we purchased for further investigation and inspection and was told that there were hoses that were tied up not allowing the the pressure from the fuel that builds up to release. They told us that there was also a dent in the gas tank and so the gas tank would need to be replaced. The dent was caused by the expansion and release of the tank from kinked hoses. A few days after we were notified that they were going to replace gas tank and fix hoses we got a call that they were no longer going to replace the tank, that it "should be fine". However we purchased his trailer brand new and now have a damaged tank due to the manufacturer putting in the tank incorrectly. They now are refusing to replace the tank. This is a safety hazard as we go camping around fires and etc and don't want to use a gas tank that has a dent and could possibly have issues in the future. They are refusing to replace the can as promised by multiple people.

      RV Supercenter Case# ******** Consumer: ************************** Filed: 11/09/2021
      Dear **************,
We are in receipt of your concern regarding an issue with your hose and/or fuel tank making loud popping sounds. When you purchased your travel trailer it came with a one year manufacturers warranty from date of purchase. Any concerns and/or requests for repairs that occur during this first year need to go through the manufacturer for approval. When you brought the coach to RV SuperCenter we were happy to assist you in facilitating your request to Forest River. The fuel tank was manufactured by **************** and they were contacted regarding your concern as well.
Both Forest River and **************** determined the issue was with a hose that was crimped by a zip tie and once the zip tie was removed from the hose the system would be safe to operate. Forest River and **************** deemed that despite there being a cosmetic dent, the fuel tank was safe to operate in its present condition and no replacement would be made by them to the fuel tank.
************** removed the zip tie from the vapor exhaust hose and secured the vent line properly per instructions from Forest River and ****************. The technician then tested for proper operation and found all systems to be functioning and working properly without any loud popping sounds. We are glad we were able to facilitate a successful repair of your concern through the manufacturer on your behalf and look forward to serving your future RV needs.
