      On approximately November 14, 2022 I was looking for a vehicle to purchase I went to Merced Auto Resource. I met a sale man who’s name is ******* goes by **** , I noticed a couple things about the vehicle I clearly asked the individual if the vehicle burns oil the engine bay was littered with black residue and the motor was making a odd noise. The white Audi had approximately 77,000 miles on it , was a 2009. Upon purchasing the vehicle and taking it home I noticed rust and evidence of damage as if the vehicle had been in an accident. He said it was noted but not in particular area of interest. About a week after purchasing the vehicle the oil light came on and I noticed the car was leaking a little bit of oil so I called and schedule and appointment I started to suspect something was seriously wrong so in December I took the vehicle to there service manager by the name of **** , and he said everything looked good and I drove it , meanwhile a couple of days after I had purchase the vehicle **** texts me and tells me that I need to call the FINANCE COMPANY ASAP WHICH IS NATION WIDE ACCEPTANCE AND SAY THAT THERE IS NO ISSUES WITH THE CAR. **** KEEPS REITERATING THAT. I Had put 4,000 dollars down on this car. I gave them the benefit of the doubt . SO I DO JUST THAT. SHORTLY AFTER THE INTIAL CHECK THE CARS CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND OIL LIGHT COME ON. I IMMEDIATELY CALL AND TELL THEM I DO NOT WANT THIS CAR ANYMORE ITS BURNING THROUGH OIL LIKE CRAZY EVERY TWO DAYS I HAVE TO PUT A QUART IN. I HAVE THE CALL DATES AND PICTURES OF TEXT MESSAGES THEY SAID THE CONVERSATION IS RECORDED. As I was waiting in the lobby several individuals were someone in with major mechanical issues my vehicle has shut off several times. **** AND **** KEEP AVOIDING ME AND MAKING EMPTY PROMISES I AM IN NO POSITION TO HAVE A VEHICLE WITH A MAJOR MECHANICAL ISSUE THAT I JUST THROUGH 4,000$ AWAY ON.

      We have tried to work with this customer but he has missed many appointments. We are willing to help them with some of the costs . We just need customer to provide us with a reasonable estimate .

       I am rejecting this response because:

      I have not missed many appointments . It was one appointment then they tried to shine me on and have no part of the vehicle having a major defect I have every call log conversation recorded I have driven down there about 4 times. They keep making promises and not following through the oil consumption issue was known and they continue to sell cars and being deceitful to their customers. Again I put 4,000$ down to have an unreliable car that they tried to keep for a week and a half to run the time constraints down therefor it’d be “out of the thirty days” . ****** told me about 4 weeks ago after talking to him in front of several customers I will call you and get you an appointment date and text you or leave you a voicemail way back in the beginning of February it’s crazy that I barely get a voicemail from **** on MARCH 2,2023. I’ve tried to be reasonable but they are just not backing their word it’s like they were trying to knowingly pawn this problem off and not have any ties to it. The job they did with rear brake light is unsatisfactory they left black handprints all over headliner and rear window deck lid .
