      MCM Plumbing was contacted in December, 2023 for an estimate for a sewer line flowing slowly. A representative/employee, ****, assessed the issue and broke the main sewer line under my residence to try to determine the reason for the slow flowing fluid. **** "snaked" the main line and didn't locate any clog and stated he had another job to attend and will be back. He didn't come back.Since there was no clog and only a slow flowing drain, I didn't contacted MCM Plumbing until 6 months later in May, 2024; because at that time I have cleared the weeds in my backyard exposing the access under my residence. At that time I found the broken, open main sewer line with muddy waster water under my residence. During these last 6 months, this open sewer line allowed waste water to flowing inside and outside of the hole and under my residence. I called MCM Plumbing, **** came out on Friday, May 31st and put a "temporary" fix, an approximate 12 inch by 8 inch piece of sheetmetal to lay over (not attached) the main sewer line to cover the approximate 5 inch by 3 inch hole made by himself from 6 months prior. MCM Plumbing was called again and **** came back out on Monday, June 3rd to put a better seal on the broken sewer line, but at a cost of $250. **** "snaked" the line again and this time stated it was clogged and suggested to hydro-flush the mainline at a cost of $660 including himself and other laborer. A total cost of $910.MCM Plumbing was negligent in breaking and leaving the broken sewer line open allowing waste water to flow under my residence causing a health hazard. I should not have to pay for their negligence in leaving an open main line which should have been secured/covered at the time it was broken, not 6 months later which caused a health hazard. These incidences are a way for MCM Plumbing to charge more money. I want MCM Plumbing to unclog my sewer and fix the hole made by them in my sewer line at their expense since they cause this health hazard.

      07/22/2024

      12/05/23-  MCM Plumbing was originally called out for an estimate to repair the sewer mainline.  Arrived to find the West side of the home backing up, the East side of house was still flushing and draining at this time. There was no clean out found for the sewer line backing up (West side of house).

       The property owner (***********************) was on site and agreed to the additional costs to remove the toilet on the west side hallway bathroom and snake the main line. After multiple attempts we were unable to get the cable into the main line due to having too many sharp turns in the plumbing, at this time the main line is still clogged. The property owner (***********************) then agreed to run the camera from under crawl space from a pre-existing cracked/broken main line. The crawl space was saturated with wastewater from the pre-existing crack/break main line. There were multiple cracks, breaks, and leaks including a crack under toilet from hallway bathroom, shower p-trap, and bathtub shoe. Someone else had made repairs and the connections to the new plumbing were wrapped in tape and foam with a constant leak. Most notable leak was the connection to the new plumbing with foam and tape that leaked from the connection when any fixture between the kitchen to hallway was ran.

       Property owner (***********************) agreed to run the camera from the pre-existing cracked pipe in the main line.  Ran camera, got to backyard concrete slab then used the 512Mhz locator and marked with paint. Notified ***** that we would need to give her an estimate to break concrete/dig to expose mainline to unclog the blockage and install a cleanout. The owner then said she will dig/break concrete and expose the main line then call us out to give an estimate.

      The original call was for a free estimate but additional work was needed, and The customer was not charged for this camera and snaking service this service would normally cost
      Service call - $130
      Labor - $220
      Camera/locate - $250
      Cable 11/16" -  $35
      Total = $635

      12/13/23- MCM Plumbing E-mailed estimate #**** for the cost of $6,500 to replace lines under house due to multiple leaks as well & install a clean out. Over the phone ***** stated the estimate was too expensive at this time.

      05/31/24- The tenant had called MCM's office stating the owner never received the estimate for plumbing repairs. *** then called the property owner *********************** in order to see if the estimate was now approved. MCM Plumbing E-mailed the estimate again and ***** stated she wanted the hole to be fixed and the estimate was not approved.

      As a courtesy at no charge MCM Plumbing returned to cover pre-existing hole in the pipe that the camera was ran thru. ***'s tech spoke to the tenant and the tenant agreed to a proper fix but not to exceed $250. This was going to be paid for by a tenant, but the owner was not present. Due to not having owner approval MCM Plumbing was to return the next business day after owner approval to repair the hole.  The customer was not charged for this service call

      06/03/24- MCM Plumbing returns to the repair line. Upon arrival ***** calls MCM Plumbing office to discuss a free repair and to avoid paying the agreed estimate between tenant and MCM Plumbing. The technician was directed by supervisor to attempt to clear line and repair hole in main line. The technician attempted to snake the main line without success due to buildup including mud in pipe that had entered the line over the course of the past 6 months. The owner visually seen and approved the workmanship done by the technician before departing. The customer was not charged for this work.
