I applied for an apartment because I am homeless at the moment they asked me for some money I totaled over $500 for deposits and fees, of which some money I would not get them back if I did not get the apartment because they were credit checks which I understood that was not a problem. The problem lies where I did not get approved for the apartment, and when I requested my money to be returned to me, the person told me it would take 21 days which is not acceptable. I need my money back now in case I do find another apartment to use for my deposit and rent now I receive an email telling me its gonna take 4 to 6 weeks for my money to be returned to me , when I got denied this apartment, I applied at another apartment complex which again I put money for deposit and unfortunately was denied again however, it only took two business days for them to return the money electronically. I need my money back now, as I am homeless and attempting to find shelter. In addition, I was never informed if I got denied, it would take so long for me to receive back any money or deposit that I was submitting. I wouldve never continued had I known it would take so long to receive my money back as again I am homeless I need my money for shelterBusiness response

It is correct that ******************* applied for an apartment on 11/25/23 and paid a total of $500 for a holding deposit fee. On our application or Final Account Statement, we do not indicate an immediate refund and it is best practice that we send out refunds after 21 days in the case the payment is voided, insufficient, or other conflicts with processing. If refund has not been received as of 1/8/24, please let me know by calling ************ or email **************************************** and I can assist in getting it recut and delivered.
