I paid for hotel on their app and insurance, and they wont give me a refund saying its the hotels fault. Yet the insurance is advertised saying you get a refund even if the hotel doesnt allow it. You tell me. I would never use this website the two times I have have been terrible plus they dont give you good deals.Initial Complaint

On 9/23/2023 I arrived at *********** in ******, ******. I was unable to get a rental car because the driver was my uncle (********************************* **** Filho) not me. They wouldnt give him a rental car because he did not have good credit and therefore did not qualify. They were not able to give me a rental car as well. I called Xpedia, they created a ticket that night and was unable to issue me a refund for the car rental and insurance. I have emails that were sent on 9/23, 9/24 from xpedia support saying they had cancelled the intenerary and was going to issue me a refund of the car rental plus the cost for auto insurance $166.17 I should receive the full refund. Now they are not. Now I requested a refund for the additional car rental insurance that I purchased of $78.00 that I was unable to use because I was unable to get a car rental. I have a ticket number *******. If they dont want to issue a refund for the car rental they should refund me for the auto insurance I paid of $78.00 from 9/23-9/28 of 2023. They said that I am unable to speak to someone from the U.S. when asked.
