I took in my vehicle to get a diagnosis done and once I got into my car I noticed it smelled a lot like gasoline and I tried to pump gas and it wouldnt pump gas so Sunday morning I checked the car and one of the Toyota employees let a tool attached to the gasoline hose. This was why I couldnt pump gas and it is something very dangerous.

So we purchased my daughters car two years ago. Today there is a huge paint peeling problem. I contacted Toyota and let them know and they stated that there was a program called ZKG Paint. Apparently the paint on this car was bad. The previous owner took the car in on February 5, 2021 to a local body shop by the name of superior paint and autobody. They repainted the roof of the car, because that was the only issue she was having. Fast-forward to today and the entire car is peeling paint. Toyota is basically saying tough! He stated that there were two warranties on the car which expired December 11, 2021 and February 18, 2023. my problem with this is that Toyota did not fix the car to begin with. You dont paint a portion of the car when the paint on the car is bad. The entire car should have been painted. I have gotten quotes on painting this car and it ranges from 2700 to 4700. This is absolutely mind blowing to me when this is a paint issue with Toyota to begin with. I already contacted Toyota directly and they told me that its out of warranty and theres nothing they can do. I beg to differ because they didnt do the job right to begin with.

I bought a car from Modesto Toyota in 2021 my loan is for a 5 years I purchased a extended warranty from this company when I purchased the car so at the end of August I went to go start my car with no luck just quit on me I still owe three more years of payments on this car and I need somebody to take care of this problem immediately so I can have a running car that I paid good money for. I have put $700 into try and diagnosing the problem and then got a quote of **** plus tax which unfortunately my service contract did not cover and I could not afford to spend the money at this time to fix the car. I would really like Modesto Toyota to provide me what I paid for with no more money out of pocket for me except for the $400 month payments I make on it I have an insured my registration is current I've gotten regular oil changes and have really taken good care of the car. I need to get some resolution for this and somebody offer me some way out or to take it as a trade in on another car and not cost me anything. I really just want to get what I have paid for and do have a running automobile I take care of my 89-year-old father I have to see him to doctor's ************ and my husband who recently went through a double bypass surgery and also needs to attend doctor's ************ I work two jobs and I just want what I paid for please help me.

Today, my wife went to get her mother's car serviced at Modesto Toyota. Last time she went there, they charged $30 to rotate the tires although she didn't request it. We didn't think much of it, but I told her next time she doesn't need that service as we get it done for free at our tire retailer. She scheduled the appointment via phone last week and asked for a oil change and NOT to rotate the tires. She dropped the car off today, again said NOT to rotate the tires. Well I guess this service department will do anything to get their sales numbers. The performed an unauthorized repair and rotated the tires. By the time she realized it and looked at the receipt she had already paid. My wife was pretty upset so I called to try and make the situation right. The service department said she had authorized the repairs, which she specifically asked them not to, so they are not going to issue a refund. They are pulling a fast one, thieving and taking advantage of their customers. I get it's only $30, but the principal of the issue of performing unauthorized repairs, hoping people don't pay attention.

After waiting on a waitlist, I paid $1,000 to reserve a new 2023 RAV4 Hybrid in January for a vehicle that was estimated to arrive in late March. The sales **** ******* sent me the specifications sheet where I noticed it was missing some of the features I was told on the initial call that it did have (specifically, heated seats and memory seating). I called the sales rep to confirm, and he verbally guaranteed that the vehicle I reserved has those features. I gave the dealership ample opportunity to correct, as I asked multiple times more to confirm, and each time they guaranteed in writing that the vehicle has those features. When the vehicle arrived, I was given less than 48 hours to pick up the vehicle. I requested someone to visually inspect the vehicle and confirm the features, only to be told it does NOT have the features I asked about. The dealership falsely advertised the vehicle, which is misrepresentation, which is a form of consumer fraud. I offered to negotiate with the dealership to reduce the price by the approximate value of the features that the vehicle was missing, but my request was promptly denied by the manager ******************* and I was refused any negotiation. I am currently waiting on a refund of my $1,000 deposit. However, I now do not have a vehicle that I was expecting to have, and needed to have, and I will have to wait many months on the waitlist at another dealership. I had an expectation (and promise) of a specific vehicle with specific features for a specific price on a specific date. After the bait-and-switch, I'm now without a vehicle and am months behind on being able to get one. I would not have reserved the vehicle at this dealership had I known this would be the outcome.

My husband and I paid a $1,000 deposit on a 2022 Toyota Prius LE hybrid through a salesman named *** at Modesto Toyota. We were told it would arrive between 4/8/2022 and 4/11/2022 and would cost about $32,000 after taxes and fees. The car arrived 4/7 and *** said we had to pick it up within 48 hours. We said we couldn't get from *********** to Modesto by then. He wouldn't hold it, but said another Prius was coming. It would cost $1,000 more for features we didn't want. (About $33,135 out the door.) We transferred the deposit to that car after being told it would arrive between 4/8 and 4/13/2022. A salesman at another Toyota dealership told my husband dealers can see the cars being made and can track their arrival. I told *** we had flights booked and were counting on that time frame. I also told him we got bank approval for financing it. Two days alter on 4/8 when I didn't hear from ***, I called him and he said the car wasn't there and now would arrive 4/9-4/12. Our daughter (for whom we were buying the car) needed this car immediately for a new job in ******* and we couldn't find another Prius anywhere near ******* or Southern **********, where we live. So we bought a ***** Accord hybrid on 4/8 for $39,537, $7,000 more than we would have paid for the Prius. We told *** what he did was essentially an illegal bait and switch.

This business had done a ****** miles maintenance service on my Toyota 4Runner on 2/18/2013, where they replaced and exchanged the transmission fluid and coolant fluid with out inspecting the car or finding any defects that warranted these 2 services ( not indicated on their proposal on 2/18/2013) , and against the 2007 Toyota 4Runner Scheduled Maintenance guide or Factory recommendations, in their email on 6/15/21@2:27pm they cited, high heat, dirt and harvest season ( not saying which crop) as sever conditions that warranted these services while Toyota factory considers driving while towing is sever conditions where I had never towed anything in my car and lived in Modesto and not even near a farm and works as a clinical pharmacist at that time and it was winter / February , they just got money for unnecessary and unrecommended services , please let me know should you need any document evidence
