On October 19 I purchased the peek a baby package ($50) and a gender reveal confetti ******($50). This package promised to identify the gender of our baby and we also reviewed verbal confirmation that they will not let us leave until they were sure what I was having. We didnt not want to know what we where having so we asked for them not to tell us. We asked if they can get us a confetti ****** and pull the label off so we do not see. They put the ultrasound picture that revealed the gender in an envelope and we where on our way. 1 week later we had our gender reveal party and we found out we where having a boy. 2 days after the party I had an anatomy scan and we got confirmation that we where actually having a girl. We called back peek a baby because we wanted to know what happened and we also received 1 ultrasound photo when we would have received at minimum 4. We tried speaking to the manager and she could not get to the phone. They apologized and said that after reviewing our photos they can clearly see its a girl and the person who ultrasound us quit. We wanted a full refund for the ****** and our photos to be mailed to us. They countered with giving us a new ****** and driving the 1 1/2 hr drive to pick up the photos or have them emailed to us. It was very difficult trying to talk to the manager she didnt call us until 5 the following day after several calls. At this point I want a full refund of all services they provided since they did not meet did not meet any of the package agreements they promised.Business response

The clients claims are not accurate. There is never a guarantee as to gender or picture quality. Peek A Baby is a keepsake service and all clients are told this prior to their visit. The client also signs an agreement that clearly states no guarantee or promise as she states is offered and they agree to this prior to being seen. No verbal confirmation or anything else is ever told to the client as she states, I have no clue where she is getting this. Many times we have clients who come and tell us we were wrong because they had an anatomy scan and after the birth of their child they realize the anatomy scan was actually wrong, and not us. The phone call she claims occurred never did. She never called to speak to a manager if she had a manager would have immediately explained to her again as was at her appointment that there is no guarantee. I have attached the agreement, which she signed and agreed to. As much as we would love for ultrasound to be a 100% science it just is not and anyone who claims that is merely mis-leading clients, which we at Peek A Baby do not do as you can see.
