I mailed this business notice of cancellation. I then called business three times and left voicemail to follow up about my cancellation. Business ignored my efforts. I filed with my credit card company and then business disputed my cancellation through credit card company. I was unable to win dispute with my credit card company due to not having proof of mailing cancellation. I would like to prevent this scenario from happening to other customers. This company did not acknowledge my cancellation and did not allow me the opportunity to cancel.Business response

To whom it may concern:***************************Date of purchase: September 9th, 2022Last date to cancel: September 13th, 2022.Complain: ********I am writing this letter in response to a complaint # ******** regarding *************************. **************** purchased a ******************** from Perry Distributing, **** on September 09, 2022, for the purchased amount of $1,845.24 in which she paid in full on her credit card. From the signed contract it clearly states that the purchase could be cancelled by the third business day after the date of transaction could have been cancelled not later than midnight of September 13th, 2022 (see attached signed contract). To cancel the transaction, mail or deliver a signed and dated copy of the cancellation notice or any other written notice, or send telegram, to the address Perry Distribution, **** 4** 12th St, Ste 11 ****************.Our office has not received any communication with **************** since the initial date of purchase on September 9th, 2022. On September 26th, 2022, our office received a Merchant Dispute Advice letter. As of today, January 25th,2023, we have not received any correspondence of any written communication by mail, certified mail, telegram, or phone call for cancellation. **************** still has the ******************** merchandise in her possession and this dispute is false, and see attached legal binding agreement to prove the purchase.Perry Distributing, **** did not receive a cancelation and the product is still in the customers possession.Sincerely,Initial Complaint

On April 1st I was sold a ***** vacuum from Perry distributing inc. and it was financed. i decided I didnt want the vacuum anymore so on April 4th at about 3:30pm I mailed out the cancellation request before the April 4th late pickup time (4:45pm) at the post office in **** **********. According to the contract as long as I sent it out postmarked by April 5th then I would be able to return it. 3 days later on the 7th I received a phone call from the salesman that came to my door and he was extremely unprofessional about me returning it. His tone definitely reflected his disappointment with me. Nevertheless he said someone would be by to pick up the vacuum in the next few days. Well a couple of weeks went by and I still had the vacuum so I called Perry distributing at the number provided on my contract and left them a detailed voicemail. They returned my call stating they never received my cancellation paperwork so then I asked if I could just bring it down to their physical office to which they said without the paperwork there wasnt anything they could do. We started arguing and the guy on the phone just hung up on me. Ive since tried to call them again 3 times and left more voicemails but they havent gotten back to me. I believe the salesman was upset he wasnt getting this sale if I returned it so he misplaced the paperwork so the guy at the office said they never got it. I have not used the vacuum since purchase and theres no reason for them to deny to take it back especially because Ive done everything in my power to rectify this. I just want the financing cancelled and this big vacuum out of my house.Business response

********************** purchased a ***** machine via financed on April 1st 2022. He owed a down payment of $260 and on 4/6/22 it was promised to be paid via phone . The salesperson called to take payment and ********************* said he wanted to cancel the contract our sales rep asked why? ********************* said buyers remorse, our sales rep informed ********************* he had 3 days to cancel which in his case it was 4 days as Sunday was not a business day. So ********************* was informed how to cancel and cancellation had passed . He then called ***** head quarters and head quarters informed ********************* on how to cancel as well. Our company has not til this day received a cancellation via mail . Contract states cancellation must be in writing within 3 business days we had not received a cancellation so we did not award cancellation. Anyone can say they canceled thats why its to be written notice for proof of cancellation for both parties. With that being said we still continue to not award cancellation as it was never done/ done correctly or received thank you for your time on this matter.
