    I have been a customer with this business for the past year purchasing band shirts for friends and family on their birthdays. Ive always been helped by a man with long *************** raspy voice, never had an issue til now. Purchased a band shirt while Christmas shopping on 12/15/23 as a gift for my girlfriend. Unfortunately she did not like the design & wanted to exchange it for a different style. Returned 12:29/23 & was helped by a young woman. When we presented her w/ our ****************** she had to call the owner for permission/how to handle situation. They spoke in ************ girlfriend is fluent & said he was being defensive and unprofessional so she asked to speak with him. My **************** had gotten into an argument over the phone. The only thing he offered was a different size. No store credit or refund. He lied & said he told me the store policy which he clearly didnt, that it was his ********** does what he wants. Claims there are policy signs around store which there isnt & was very disrespectful and unprofessional. Looking on Yelp there are complaints of former women employees also complaining about his unprofessionalism & paying employees under the table with no lunch breaks & harsh work environment. He had told us if we didnt like his rules then we can leave. His defensive & rude attitude was not appreciated and unprofessional. He did not try to work out any deal with us and instead insulted my girlfriend & lied. Owner said I shouldve known better and never asked questions about return policy so that it was all my fault. I trusted this man given the reason why I always returned to give him business. It feels a bit shady to not tell customers about policies and expect them to know. We usually go by what most store policies run which is a 30day exchange policy. We exceeded his 1 week policy due to it being a Christmas gift and it was purchased ahead of time due to it being a gift. We dont live nearby or else we wouldve returned sooner.
