      On 02/10/2024 I purchased and paid via Zelle for a dress for $171.66 from this company. *********************************** told me that my dress was not in stock and had to be ordered, but I could pick it up on Tuesday 2/13/2024. ******************** called me on Monday and told me that the color I had choses was not available but if I wanted to I could look for a different dress. When I went back to look for a different dress she told me the dress I wanted was $282.41 so I had to pay an additional $111.00. I told her that was above my budget and since I couldn't find a dress I wanted I asked her to refund my money. She refused to give me back my money because she claimed they did not give refunds or exchanges. I told her I was not exchanging i simply wanted my money back for I dress I paid for which she did not have. She never gave me the dress I paid for or ordered it because they did not have the color I wanted. I sent her a text message asking for my money back and she is not responding to my messages or calls.

      *********************** came into my store and asked for a dress in which unfortunately it was not available. I sent her a text stating that the dress she ordered was not available in the color she chose so I asked her if she wanted any other dress in which she replied with yes, I will pass by your store to choose another one. So she then came into my store and choose 2 different dresses in the color black and I asked her what was the reason for the change in color was since her first dress was the color mauve rose and she stated that the bridal gave them 3 different color options but I told her that the first dress she wanted was available in the color black so I asked her if she wanted that one in which she replied No, I wasn't sure what I was ordering. So she proceeded to order the other 2 options so I asked her from these 2 new options which one did she like more and she said option number 1 so while being with my provider I proceeded to let her know that option 1 cost a little more but option 2 had the same price as her first original order so I asked if I bring her option number 2 since option number 1 was out of her budget, so then instead she proceeded to cancel her order and asked for a refund. This is where I stated that we don't refund money but she would have store credit since the first original dress that she wanted was available in black but not in the color mauve rose and I traveled to my providers warehouse to get her the 2 other options she ordered. She then came the next day with another lady who had nothing to do with the purchase stating that I steal money because I didn't want to refund her friends money and threatened she would do something to my store since she works with lawyers. I replied that her friend has store credit since the other 2 options she wanted were in stock, If she would have canceled her order the first time I mentioned the dress she wanted was not available then I would have gladly gave her her money back but she proceeded to order 2 more dresses make me waste my time gas and close my store to go acquire her dress then cancel her order after there after. After all I sent her money back via ***** on the date 02/29/24

      I am rejecting this response because:

      ******************************* has made false claims about our interaction. After the original order was placed, ******************** called me to let me know the color I ordered was unavailable and I had to come in to pick a different dress. I was not told that getting a refund was an option at that point. Since I was in need of a dress, I requested prices for 2 dresses but did not place an order for these 2 new dresses. She texted me the next day to let me know one of the dresses would be (not a little more but) over $100 more than my original order and could be ready in 2 days (not ordered or received by her from the warehouse). I replied to her that this was out of my budget and did not want any other dresses and to refund the original orders money since that sale was not made. I did not cancel an order since she did not order a dress for me in the first place. She refused to refund my money and instead asked me to stop by her store to talk. The next day I went to see her with my mother as support and again requested a refund. We argued back and forth over the situation and finally we told her we would dispute the charge with my bank and left the store. Threats to her store or of lawyers were never made. She did not acquire any physical dress for me nor place an order for me since the dress I originally paid for was not available. Since the matter was not resolved, I did have to speak to a lawyer who sent her a letter requesting the money refunded or further legal action would be taken. She finally refunded my money on 2/29/24. According to her Yelp reviews, this is not the first time she has refused to refund money to customers. Her business practices are unprofessional and should be investigated.
