My wife ordered through the Carl's Jr *** on February 23, 2024 at 4:21PM while we were inside the Carls **. ** got an email confirmation from Carls ** that the order was successful. The order didnt go through inside the Carls ** according to the employees and the assistant manager. They claim its a problem with the *** and to cancel the order and do it again. ** cancelled the order at 4:24PM, and we got a confirmation of the cancellation through email. My wife and I ordered again through the Carls ** *** at 4:28PM, and got the email confirmation from Carls ** that the order was successful. The employees, and the assistant manager said the order didnt go through. At this point my wife and I were frustrated with the process and cancelled the order at 4:30PM, and got the confirmation of cancellation email. The amount was $5.51 including taxes. I had ordered my food from my phone (Android) on the same day and my order went through immediately. My total was $16.74 so it looks like its occasionally doing this. I checked my bank statement for my credit card and I got charged $5.51 once, but I didnt get my food. The Carls ** ***lication (Android) is ripping off customers by not giving them their food and charging them for nothing at all. Im attaching the email confirmations (orders/cancellations) as proof. This practice needs to stop, because if the employees and managers know and keep ripping off customers, its fraud on a grand scale. My wife and I personally went to the Carls ** on February 27, 2024, at 4:30PM and spoke with the assistant manager who immediately shut us down and said it wasnt his problem, and that it was a problem with the *** not his store. The managers are aware of this problem and even stated that its h***ening to a lot of people who order through the ***. He was rude, sarcastic and had no interest in fixing, or addressing our concerns. He refused to refund our money, or even give us the food we had already been charged for.
