Dear *********************** / Complaint Specialist
Thank you for providing notice of the experience with Mr. **** On June 16, 2022, at approximately 9:30 am, one customer by the name of ************** came to our office for two sets of livescan services. I politely informed him that our livescan services begin at 10:00 am, to which he responded that he was in a "hurry" and required the forms to be completed "right away". In response, I turned on the computer and livescan systems to accommodate his special request, all within about 5 minutes.
When I completed the first set of livescans, I told him the total price for both set of services would be $92.00 dollars. He asked me to charge his credit card, to which I responded that we are not a retail store and that we did not have the means to process credit card payments.
It was at this point that Mr. ***** impatience turned into anger and he refused to make payment. I offered him an option to pay by *****, if cash was not amenable. Strangely, he demanded that we provide him with a ********* gift card if were to pay with *****, to which I responded that we were not in the business of selling ********* products. He then used the derogatory slur against me. Having business based on good faith, I asked him to please use professional means to communicate. Again, he raised his voice and used slurs against me. Because Mr. *** refused to pay for the services, I informed him that I would not be performing the second set livescans for him. Mr. *** left without paying a single ******
Mr. ***** concerns regarding the sharing of his personal information are unfounded. I presume he is now concerned that his inflammatory actions would invite a retaliatory response, indicating a sense of guilt for his improper and derogatory actions. However, I have always been and will continue to be a professional, and I intend to uphold my integrity by abiding by all applicable livescan rules and regulations.
