      Gave clock to **** for some work to be done.. Communicated with him on and off for 18 months...he was backed up and overwhelmed..as far as I know there was NO work done within the 1st 18 months... As I type the time line it seems ridiculous I allowed it to go on... 6 months ago I started not being able to get ahold of him.. I've emailed and left phone messages begging him to communicate but he has stopped.. I feel ripped off now..!! Amazing its been 2 years since he picked up the clock and a deposit.. I feel like filing a police report of theft..

      I mailed *********** the German clockmaker the movement and face of a family heirloom clock to be repaired via certified mail with a proof of signature receipt through *********************. He was in consistent contact me with me initially, he would email me and let me know he was getting to my repair slowly but surely. Then eventually all contact ceased. He has not returned my calls or my emails for an entire year. His website is no longer in existence. I paid him $800 *********** He has kept my family heirloom clock and will not even attempt to make contact to mail it back to me. I don't even care if it's fixed I just want it back so that I can take it to another shop and have it fixed. I would like my item mailed back to me immediately. I am also willing to make the 9 Hour drive ************ to his location ********************** to collect my property, a simple phone call from him so that I can arrange this exchange is all that I need. I just want my property back I don't even care about the loss of money at this point, but my irreplaceable item must be returned. I would like it to be repaired upon return if it is not repaired that is fine, I can take it elsewhere. I just want my property back.

      I've used the German Clockmaker *********** a number of times for my family's various vintage clocks. One such carriage clock was repaired by him, but stopped working several months later. It was most likely in early 2021 that **** came by, picked up the clock and said he'd fix it again. I've sent him numerous texts and voicemails (since he never picks up his phone), and finally an email today. He once responded to a text explaining that he'd been ill but would call me the next day, which he never did. I've offered to drive down to his home in ******** to pick up my carriage clock, repaired or not, just to get it back. He's never responded to that offer. At this stage, I have no idea whether or not he still has my clock, repaired it, or lost it. I would be happy if he just returned it to me, and we'd be finished. It's extremely disconcerting because none of this would be necessary if he'd just do what he said he would do. Please help resolve this issue. Thank you very much, ************

      *********** picked up two clocks from my home for repair on December 2, 2020. I paid him $150. He returned them but they broke again so he came back and took them away. Now I am unable to reach him by telephone or email and he did not respond to a letter I sent to his address. I'd like my clocks back, whether or not they are repaired.
