      I dont have the exact date . It was of last summer 2023 . I paid $500. The manager was rude and wouldnt refund my money after I was pressured into the purchase and pressured into setting up classes sooner than I wanted to. I had a knee injury and didnt feel comfortable with taking the classes anymore . I expressed this many times . They decided to be rude and tried putting words in my mouth that I didnt say . After being out of work from the injury I really couldnt take the classes and wanted my money back . No empathy from the manager. The teacher was fine . It was the manager that was awful . I would never recommend the business due to the interaction of the manager .

      Dear BBB,

      This customer is accusing us of false information.  Each student who is new to the school is offered a free ****** to try it out.  You can visit our website at arthurmurraymonterey.com.  There is absolutely no obligation or pressure to continue onto a program.  She had a great time and decided to enroll on August 24th 2022.  At time of signing her student enrollment agreement which we have copies of she understood that her ******s never expire and is only eligible for a refund if a request was made in writing one month from purchase which would've been September 24th 2022 which she signed.  She scheduled her first ****** on August 31st and canceled the day of at 11am.  She should've been charged for the ****** because it wasn't within our 8 hour cancelation policy.

      On October 20th 2022, we received an e-mail requesting a refund, our office manager was very kind to her, we can send all correspondences and e-mails so you can see how she was spoken to vs. how she spoke to our office manager.  We sent her a copy of her signed agreement showing that she is not eligible for a refund.  We came up with lots of solutions for her but she declined all.  Her ******s never expire and she can take them at anytime, she can also use them at any Arthur Murray, she can also gift them to anyone she'd like.  She declined everything and was very rude to our office manager.

      She claims she spoke to her instructor about injuries but we have no records of this.  Every student that comes into the school is treated with respect and never do we pressure anyone to continue.  If you'd like to see the e-mails please let me know what e-mail to send them to.
