We signed a Contract with ******'s Landscaping Service, owned by ****** ********. The scope of the project was; site prep &grading, remove existing concrete patios, walkways, steps; excavate 4" of existing grade for concrete footing for new tile installation; haul all debris away. Install new ******* ************** red/ ******* tile ( specified many times NO ******** as I don't like the yellow) with existing 4" of concrete footing with rebar in approx. *** sq ft, on patios, steps and walkways, including side walkways in North side of property, labor and materials. Build two new fire storages on both sides of existing outdoor fireplace, labor and materials; Build a new *** walls with counter top for new *** grill provided by client, labor and materials. Install new gravel walkway measuring approximately 220 sq ft, labor and materials; install two new wall passageways *** gates to be provided by client, and stucco all cabinets and walls. ****** and his crew barely ever showed up. They would come on Monday's usually, and maybe a tuesday and then we wouldn't hear from them again for days. We would have to call him continually to find out what was going on. We got varying excuses but later discovered he was actually doing another project and was spending all his time there because it was a bigger account. Our project came in at *********** We had drawn up the plans we wanted to scale, with ************ ******* , ******* ******** etc and ****** made a copy with his phone camera. Every project before they started my husband and I went over before any work with ****** about the height, width ************ as were on the plans given him and yet every single project they got wrong and had to redo. Then they poured the concrete foots and that was and still is a ********* They left the wood stakes and the metal stakes in all the poured concrete, steps, patio, firewood cabinets. Concrete subpar.
