Removed myself from a lease over 3 years ago, they never removed me and my roommate due to their disorganization and have been going back and forth with the company to remove my name from the less. Both my roommate and I left during different time periods and it has been a challenge to get removed from the lease. Been very unhelpful and rude over the phone. Have called and emailed multiple times with no resolution in sight.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/02/03) */ We recently were informed that you had moved out. When you sign a lease you are not able to be removed without the proper documents being filled out. Current tenants must authorize your removal from the lease in writing as you must authorize the security deposit to be refunded to the remaining tenants. The remaining tenants must re-apply to see if they qualify for the home with you no longer on the application. If all of these steps are met and approved. Then we are able to make the changes and issue a new lease. This was not done 3 years ago. Therefore you were not removed from the lease. The steps I described have now been completed this week. So now we were able to successfully remove you from the lease. I recommend in the future to ask these questions prior to making the decision of signing a lease.
