-5 stars. I bought 4 tires from this company a year ago and I asked them to put one tire of mine that was brand new in my trunk the others they can recycle. They noted it down on the paper work what I requested. When I went to go pick up my car my new tire was not in the trunk. I asked to speak with the manager and the manager told me they got rid of it and theres nothing they can do about it to leave theyre busy. I filed a complaint through email and I never got a response back. Can anyone help me to report this?Review from PETER B

EXORBITANT OVERCHARGE taking advantage of my stranded circumstances. On Friday 08 Dec 2023 at 5:45Pm the Adams St location sold me two tires: Summit 205/60R 16 92H ULTRAMAX for $127.99 apiece (before charges for balancing + taxes) for a total end cost of $340. These tires cost only $63.09 apiece on ****** and $65 apiece at *******. Moreover, ******** ***** quoted me today that they would have provided me with the same tires for $205 total end cost after installation. So American Tire overcharged me $135. I felt stranded and over a barrel on Friday at 5:45Pm: so I paid what turned out to be the exorbitant amount of $340 so I would be able to get home. The following day I checked out prices on the Internet of competitors, and then I telephoned American Tire in compliance with their request on Yelp. I asked WHY I was overcharged. The would NOT respond to the question! Then I asked for a partial refund. I was told that the only resolution they would offer me would be a free oil change. Went to have 2 nails removed from rear tire which were in middle of tread which I brought the tires from they said it was unrepairable which ******* said it was but they couldnt do it because of liability so anyway they said I I need to get another tire note this is my daughter that went in. I just went to see the tire and it was two nails in the middle of the tread which was repairable again they said they couldnt repair it cause one was crooked didnt understand that it wasnt on the sidewall. It was in the middle of the tire so the manager said I can go somewhere else so I didnt wanna argue with the man so I bought a new tire. I asked him the price the warranty covered it but I had to pay mounting and balancing he said 30 or $40 when I got the bill came to 89 so I paid it didnt go through the h hassle as of arguing with this guy I called *********** spoke to the district manager. He said I was correct dont know why that they charge me almost double what they quoted me he said he will send me a check for $48 that was on November 9, 2023. It is now December second no check has Arrived arrived called yesterday have not received a call. Learn my ******* Every time I go by that place i its empty. On Sept. 2022 I had 4 tires installed and balanced on my 2008 GMC ******* One month later I took my truck back to repair a leak caused by a nail, repair took at least 5 hours, I was there till after the store had closed, I immediately noticed the **** light and brought this up to the manager on site, no action taken on mgr behalf. ***** returned to ******** Depot a third time truck was out of balance, still no response to ****. 9/15/2023 talked to ****** set up a 9:00 AM appt. mgr on site this morning stated two **** were bad quoted me a price of $116.00 to replace later came back and recommended to replace all 4 at a higher cost, told mgr to bring my truck as isI will never do business with Americas Tire Depot in *****, ********** and will discourage everyone I talk to.Review from Jasmine M

$500 was STOLEN out of my mothers wallet while getting her tire changed at ************* on ************************************************************* ***** was the man who changed her tire. **** was the supervisor ********. They both insist that there are no cameras inside the bay where cars are serviced, and they both insinuated my husband could have stolen the money while installing her donut tire. I was present the entire time, and there are cameras in the driveway. My mother drove straight to their business right after. For NO ONE to taken accountability is reprehensible. My mother has not worked in 5 months due to an injury and needed that money. Police report filed. Shame on them!Review from Antoinette W

************** ********* Location - The Store Manager R. degrades women, calling me stupid and left my tire in the middle of the sidewalk. When I reported to the district manager, he did not care and has not investigated the location because he is buddies with the store manager. This place supports sexism and I see why its not BBB accredited.Review from Daniel W.

I made an appointment online via the company website to purchase Good Year tires, get an alignment and rotate my tires; when I arrive at 8am (opening) ***** states that those tires have been discontinued and that I should have called rather than use THEIR website to make reservation and choose tires I chose a different brand of tire (Falken) that ***** said he would order and receive within a couple hours, I agree to do that and request a tire rotation and alignment. ***** dissuades me from rotating new tires to the rear (every automotive site I've read states new tires should always go on rear axles) and agrees to checking wheel alignment and adjusting alignment if needed I receive a call from ***** at 10:08am; ***** says he has no one to pick up my tires but that he will get the tires and finish the job by 3 or 4pm (never told me he couldn't complete the alignment) I never receive a call, so I arrive at American Tire Depot on *********************************************************** at 4:30pm to see my car not finished and with the driver front tire deflated prior to driving into the shop. I speak with *****, and he apologizes and says the car will for sure be done prior to closing (6pm) I leave and return at 5:30pm to see my car still in shop barely being "finished". When I ask ***** directly how off my alignment is he does not answer the question and asks to meet him inside at the register. At the register he avoids disclosing that he did not do an alignment and did not even use the alignment machine to determine exactly to what degree my alignment is off. ***** states that he knows I need an alignment based on how the old tires are worn (I KNOW THIS; THIS IS WHY I CAME TO GET AN ALIGNMENT!) *****'s excuse was that he did not have a mechanic today (Why was this never disclosed in all the conversations we had during the 9.5hr time?!?) Overall, I am appalled at the unprofessionalism of American Tire Depot on ***********************************************************Customer Response

As an employee who worked for *** for many years I'd love to tell you guys that this company will rip you off for every penny that you may have. The sons are trained to sell anything they can to anyone they can get.. its so sad how a rich family takes advantage of everyone including their own relatives! Stay away from ******** and any shop still ran by the ************* family
