I reached out to several service providers to have my gutters cleaned. Bay Area Outdoor Cleaning Service is one of the companies I received a quote from. The owner said he would contact me to schedule a time for his crew to come out. After never hearing from him, I had the work done by another service. The owner then texted me several days later to say he was sending a crew to my house. I told him that was not acceptable and that the work had already been done. When I arrived home, the crew was at my house. I told them to leave and they did. This was on October 24, 2023. It appears the owner issued an invoice and the first I heard of it is when a collection agency contacted me about it. Bay Area Outdoor Cleaning Service invoiced me $287 for work that was never done, never sent me the invoice, and then turned me over to a collection agency. I expect them to cancel the invoice and recall the invoice from the collection agency. I appreciate any assistance you can give in this matter.Business response

My crew did in fact perform a cleaning service on your gutters on the day you scheduled with us. If you needed to cancel, you would have. However, there has always been a cancellation fee if cancelling within a 12 hour period.
Because my crew arrived and did the job, you are required to pay for the services.
