A group of 6 of us went out to Harbor Hut on Saturday 8/10/2024 to grab some cocktails before walking down to browse other stores and restaurants. The place wasn't busy at all, and we walked up to the bar area where there was one customer that was looking like she was getting food to go. We waiting at the bar area while the bar tender/manager was chit chatting with the young lady picking up food. One member of our group went to use the bathroom and returned, another one went and returned and during this whole time the bar tender had yet to acknowledge our group and just continued to chit chat with the young lady picking up food. We were a group of middle aged women, Asian women and the bartender, which we later found out was the manager, didn't acknowledge us once. After about 10 minutes we decided to leave. I made a very loud comment that it would of been nice to have been acknowledged but we can obviously tell that our kind was not welcomed there. The restaurant seemed to be catering to only white folks and it was obvious that was the case after a group of 6 asian women stood at very empty bar for 10 minutes. The bartender/manager followed us out trying to make his plea that he was busy helping another customer and I told him that being busy is fine, but all he needed to do was acknowledge us and say I'll be right with you.
