  DONT TRUST THESE GUYS! They will scam you! Im Enlisted and am currently ******************** and their website claims to give free filing for military. When I finished thru the process, I saw that they were going to charge me ~$200+. I called their customer service agents twice to help me understand if this will fall off or not because of my status. If not, how to go about it to utilize their promise. The first female told me took forever to get me an answer. She wasnt able to help but what she did suggest after about 45 minutes, was to go ahead and go through with it thinking it would drop off. It never did..The second female didnt know how to get the free service for military either. So she suggested for me to submit for a refund. I did submit for a refund. Three times! All of them were denied because of some Guarantee policy that I was not under. I will never use TurboTax again even though Ive never had issues with them for the other years Ive used them. I will actually tell people to use other services besides TurboTax. They treated me so poorly and are clueless to fixing the problem. They are obviously a greedy company if they dont care to make these sort of issues right.

  I have a quickbooks online merchant account for both of my businesses. A client recently paid via quickbooks CC processing on 04/05/2025. The funds have not been released into the business bank account associated with the Quickbooks business account. I have called several times and am redirected, I am advised that an account was "closed due to business decision" yet I received no correspondence of such and am able to access my account willingly. The bank account is linked and I am able to access and view my bank statements on quickbooks. They are simply holding my customer funds, this is theft and fraud. I have been on the phone for hours with them over the span of 2 weeks. Last correspondence on 04/11/2025 I was advised that the funds would be released within 2-3 business days. It is now the 3rd business day and no funds have been released into my account. My money is being held without release against my will, My customer paid for services rendered and I have not been paid due to quickbooks witholding my money. STAY AWAY YOU WILL SIT ON HOLD AND THERE IS ALWAYS SUCH A HIG VOLUME OF CALLS THAT NO ONE WILL ANSWER! THEY WILL LEAVE YOU THERE FOR HOURS, THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND AND NOT HELP! HIGHLY HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST THIS COMPANY!

  False advertising file for free. You then have to select what package want to use and I chose the basic $79. When I got to the end of federal, it would not let me move on unless I upgraded to their deluxe package which was $129. Then to file state it was an extra $70. Overall I had to pay $205. Ive never paid that much using turbo. I didnt even have to use any of the perks with the forced deluxe package.i will never use turbo tax again

  Turbo Tax online is very misleading as to WHAT product you're using / purchasing. It wasn't until I was filing my return that I noticed that I had selected a more expensive service that I didn't want. There is NO WAY TO DOWNGRADE at the time of filing - I had to clear my entire tax return and start from scratch. Miraculously the second time around there is a "switch products" option on the menu where you can easily change product selections...While I was completing my taxes the SECOND time, I was prompted to select the more expensive option SEVERAL TIMES - you have to carefully deselect the default option.This is not user friendly software and I wonder how many people they scam with these techniques.

  Absolute joke. Paid them to file my taxes. They take my money and then say they can't be filed. Not getting any assistance at all. Wait on the phone for ******************************************** the background for several minutes. Absolutely terrible

  Went to file my simple taxes and was forced to upgrade to to deluxe ive always had simple filings. They told me I must have wanted the upgrade. This has happened the last few years despite advertising free filing for simple taxes. Then this year there is a new $40 fee on top of forced upgrade $79. I was forced to pay $119 to file my taxes this year. When it should have been free. Bait and switch tactics. BBB wouldn't let me file a formal complaint with help for resolution and suggested I leave a review. Here's hoping it helps.

  I would give zero stars. I filed with this outfit and stupidly paid my federal taxes in full thru their website for over $20.00. I asked for a receipt and Turbo sent me multiple emails showing I paid for tax prep and their third party for payment of taxes. They submitted my return to the *** with taxes owed. ******* told me the *** would send me a receipt like Im stupid enough to believe that. Resolution at ***** told ke wait 21 days. They had no idea if my money was submitted. My bank card reads treas payment ***********. That ********** is closed. Turbo has no address, phone number or information regarding their third party. The *** doesnt see the payment. Turbo Tax has horrible customer service and acts like you owe them money. Stay away from this bandit. I was trying to expedite this situation paying online with them, I should have gone to *** website, but I wasnt thinking.

  I have been loyal a TurboTax ******** for years, never having an issue. My husband and I purchased the deluxe version from ****** and entered everything into the desktop application. There was an extra charge to e-file(not the end of the world). We paid the charge and submitted our taxes. We got an email shortly after saying our taxes were rejected. We had saved a pdf of our filed taxes. We went back into the desktop application using the same user information we used to file and everything had been erased, like we never filed our taxes. I contacted TurboTax and had to call back three times due to being disconnected for unknown reasons before hanging up on the third ******** service representative. They were zero help, asking the same question over and over without listening to what the concern was. The ******** service representative each time asked us to log in (we did screen share), then continued to ask repeatedly despite us saying we were logged in. Once they saw we were logged in, they responded with well you have to file your taxes to efile. No matter how the concern was worded, nobody listened or tried to help. We got absolutely nowhere and it was so frustrating. We wound up going through HR Block to file and will never use TurboTax again.

  TurboTax Intuit falsely advertised. I was charged an exorbitant amount of money to file a basic tax return. As a senior citizen on a fixed income, I am very disappointed that filing a basic required document has become a scam!
