This whole program is nothing more than a sham. My wife and I received mailings offering a free scale (that we didn't need in the first place) for signing up and free Fitbits after completing program milestones. Sound familiar?We were not made aware that Lark would be billing our insurance anywhere in the information sent or in the app that accompanies the program. Yet, to the tune of $93 a pop, we were both getting billed multiple times a month for coaching that never happened. We are not out of pocket anything here, but Lark has profited a couple thousand dollars from our insurance company in the past six months. This is straight-up insurance fraud on their part, in my opinion, and it should be investigated.Upon discovering the situation, I removed the *** cards from both scales, and we deleted our accounts in the hopes that the billing would stop. I am currently keeping an eye on that to see what happens. What has happened to date is bad enough, but if it continues after we have dissociated ourselves from them completely, legal action will be pursued.

Lark does submit claims to a member's health insurance based on certain milestones that are achieved by participating in the Lark program. The milestones and the claims that result are consistent with the terms of the agreement that is in place between Lark and your health insurance provider. This arrangement between Lark and your health plan is outlined in our terms and conditions, to which Lark members agree as part of the registration. In addition, I wanted to confirm that you did earn the Fitbit through your participation with Lark. If you didn't receive the code in your email, we encourage you to check your junk or spam folders and then contact our support team for assistance. Lastly, I can confirm that your account has been deleted and that no further billing activity will take place. We wish you the best on your health journey, even if it is not with Lark. I am wanting to cancel, signed up and then realized my work uses a other company/app. Sent information back and forth all day asking for my account to be deleted and not to bill insurance. I cannot seem to get that accomplished. Last email said it was cancelled on their side but I have to go in and cancel the account and Uninstall app. App has been uninstalled and I don't know where to cancel the account. Very poor customer support.

I received postcard in the mail from Lark approximately six months ago stating that I would receive a free scale if I signed up for their services through my Health Insurance. I did enroll, providing ALL of my personal information to Lark. In the five following months, I never heard anything from them and, when I tried to look up through both my health insurance and Lark websites, I was unable to find any information. Last month I received an email from them stating that I should be weighing in on my Lark scale. When I contacted them, finally able to get through, they said that, although I was a Lark member now, I did not qualify for the scale. So essentially my Health Insurance is paying them to monitor my health but Lark is doing nothing for me and got me to sign up under the false pretenses of getting a scale. This is a warning for anyone looking to sign up for their services. This company is not in the best interest of the consumer and offers incentives to basically steal your information, then they do nothing, all the while getting paid by your insurance company to monitor your health. I will not be surprised when I see Lark in the news for unscrupulous business practices.

Your health insurer offers two programs with Lark: a wellness program without a scale and the diabetes prevention program with a scale. It appears that the program that you are currently enrolled in is not eligible for a scale. However, based on your feedback, Lark's Customer Support team will reach out to you shortly to see if we can help get you enrolled in the program with a smart scale. I used this though my insurance and there was an incentive to use the coaching app, I had to share my personal information and use their very slow "coaching prompt". Despite coming my check-in, they app does not indicate it was "completed" and that my check in does not count. I've raise the problem to support and they told me to just re-install the app. It doesn't fix that fact that I spent "time" completing my check-in and it not counting. I get the feeling they just selling my information.

Hello - I'm sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with the Lark app and the support that the Lark team provided. Your health plan's incentives program only counts daily check-ins toward earning the incentive. Unfortunately, mindful check-ins do not count toward the reward. However, since you also experienced a technical issue with Lark and in appreciation for providing us with your feedback, Lark Customer Support previously issued a gift card for more than the amount of the incentive. It seems like you may not have received that gift card so our team has resent the gift card today.
