I reached out to CRS on Sept '23 and again on 3/26, based on a LinkedIn generated email and proposal. CRS noted they were well positioned on industry trends on resume and LinkedIn writing so I moved forward with the resume writing, LinkedIn update and Distribution Services. 3/31 due to payment processing issues, CRS provided a shopping cart screenshot clearly noting the agreed services which I paid via Venmo. After a CRS delay, I received the documents on 4/8. Upon review of the documents, I was alarmed as it was merely the same resume format, included minor updates to the introduction, inclusion of keyword skills some that were redundant or NA, cut / paste of updates to my current role I provided. Further CRS removed good previous experience from my current role that would align with jobs I communicated I plan to seek out. LinkedIn profile was merely a cut/ paste of the resume with a profile heading change so no effort spent. I shared comments which CRS noted they would take on and reissue. After another missed deadline they committed to and further research of similar comments on various websites that I was experiencing I sent an email on 4/16 asking for an amicable solution to part ways. Acknowledging limited effort in the resume writing so please keep payment for that, but I would like a refund for the LinkedIn update and distribution services. She responded noting I have received all the documents I paid for thus fulfilling CRS requirements which was incorrect. 4/18 I replied noting my offer was reasonable, but again responded with incorrect information and my resume was optimized, likely by Gen *** 4/29 I followed up again noting what I paid for again. 4/30 CRS finally recognized what I paid for and agreed in an email of the refund and allow 5-7 days to process. 5/9 I followed up on refund status with no response. At this point I see further CRS communication pointless and if responded to will be just as unprofessional as the entire experience has been.

On May 25, I paid *** **** at Capstone Resume Services **** (********************) to create a refreshed ******** profile for me. We communicated frequently over the past several months, with me making requests for specific revisions, but despite providing specific instructions/comments in the documents and via email, *** did not make the requested revisions (rather, she repeatedly sent documents rife with inaccuracies and spelling and grammatical errors. I have attached one email as an example of the information I provided along with repeated notes about errors that were never fixed (*** **** Communication ******* Since nothing had been accomplished, I asked *** on Sept 13 if she felt that she could complete the tasks or provide a refund. She stated that she would provide a refund and I have followed up twice since then with no response from her (*** **** ******************* In reviewing the company's profile on****, I see that others appear to also have had issues with refunds, so I am seeking the****'s assistance to ensure the refund is processed. Please let me know if further information is needed.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/10/06) */ Refund of **** is processed. Company put in over ** hours on this one ******** profile alone due to compliance issues between what characters ******** allows (each section has a limit) and what the client wanted in the profile. At the end of it, the connection could not be made and dissemination of information broke down. We wish ******** all the best. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2022/10/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) The request/complaint was regarding a refund that the owner offered and as indicated in the response, the refund has been processed. While some of what is written in the owner's response is an inaccurate representation of our transaction, it is not necessary to discuss further or publicly since the refund has been processed. I wish *** all the best.

      Business response

      08/18/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/22) */ Client already filed a chargeback on Labor Day after we didn't immediately reply to an email sent on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. He was accommodated with 50+ emails, multiple phone calls, timely delivery of documents, and responses from the owner of the company and the certified writer. After providing proof of our service, dates and times of deliveries and emails, the client's own responses to our emails to him, and the before and after documents after we wrote them, the case was found in Capstone Resume Services favor and we received the money back as we fulfilled our service to him. This case has already been found in our favor and is now closed. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/09/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Thanks, but it seems *** *********** Resume Service is not being truthful in her response lets take the statement in this case of "...50+ emails, multiple phone calls, timely delivery of documents, and responses from the owner of the company". She can not provide proof of 50+ emails, the maximum email's she sent were 10 only (all dates/timestamps attached for review) and the last email was on 9/7 with statement "Hi ****, it's a holiday weekend and we are out of office. We were closed today for the American holiday, Labor Day. We operate Monday - Friday and typically are not open on the weekends. We would have been happy to respond tomorrow when business resumes." She didn't even bother respond on my numerous requests to complete her work order and fulfill the delivery of all items I paid for $920, I sent her on 9/9 still NO RESPONSE from her till date. On phone calls, she has never called me, I only spoke with **** ********* writer 2 times one before the contract was signed and then once our resume interview which he decided to split in 2 calls the 2nd call has still not happened. Delivery was delayed and still its not up to mark so needs revisions. If she is not responding or working on it how can we expect a closure. Even on paper if we take don't bring the quality part she is still missing the following items: 1. 1 Hour call not completed yet (30 mins still needed to complete contract) = $50 2. 2nd Resume is not provided yet, only a template was provided = $299 3. No revision at all yet provided = $150 The quality of the work is lower than expected and there are still above pending open actions worth $500 which has not even bothered to respond. She is only concerned about PayPal refund request but she doesn't care about the quality of her work, keeping her contract and ensuring her customers are satisfied. Thats why I expect her to either close the actions provide the products I paid for or if she can't keep her contract then refund the order. Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2021/09/23) */ I've already provided proof. It was found by the credit card companies and PayPal to be in Capstone's favor. The initial complaint from the client was incredibly untruthful. He got caught and we won. Case CLOSED. Consumer Response /* (4200, 12, 2021/09/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Look at their response, He got caught and we won. Case CLOSED.... means they don't want to even give service and took money now its time to take it to court so NO we can't accept the closure thanks! They need to be taught a lesson so they can't ********* others.
