My home backs up to this business with a small concrete canal separating us. I've lived here several years with no issues prior to the weeks leading up for fourth of July 2023. The problem has continued and gradually grown worse every single day since. Initially I began by asking employees from across the fence to be quiet early morning with all my windows closed they'd wake us up we could clearly hear inappropriate details of their personal lives being shared. This resulted in louder conversations, music being played and burning out in their cars. Were talking Holidays, 5,6,7 AM. So I negative reviewed them on ****** hoping to get some help. Once again this made things worse. At the time fireworks were in season so all day all night I'd see employees running back towards parking lot after a mortar went off above my house. Since then they've grown to using signal jammers and radio frequency generating devices to making living in peace impossible. I have purchased my own devices designed to detect these frequencies and every time I hear this high pitched whining sound it lights up at their property. I've even had actual stand off like situations with people on their side of the fence while trying to capture them in the act on video. They seem to have teamed up with the local security company because these events don't stop 24/7. I didn't know any of this was possible until I started googling my experiences and turns out harassment with radio frequency is very real and is happening every day. Being a construction company they would know how to maximize affects on a single home or even plant a device like a signal jammer in an undetectable location. I just ****** rated them again last night as I took old one down previously when realizing it was useless and once again as I type this message the rf reading skyrocketed and ill be lucky to have enough internet connection for this to post. Please contact me if you want to see the rf readings from devices thank you

We recieved this negative review and feedback multiple times. We have made it known to the neighbor that we are not the only tenants in this building and we do not have a control over who comes into our open parking lot in front of our building. As for our teams, we have taken steps to make sure that our staff are not taking part in activities that are noisy during restful hours. Our staff generally arrive at office around 6:30am on weekdays, and are on the road to service the comunity at 7am. we do not work weekends and we would not have any loudness from us on any other time slot. We have a strict time slot for matterial pick up and job briefings. As for the customers complaint about radio signal jamming or things of that nature, we are a construction company that does home repairs.. we are not a tech company that would even have a reason to have such types of equipment. That specific detail has nothing to do with Good Life Construction.

all other concerns that he mentioned, i asked for photo and video evidence of our crews so we can address it if we do have a crew that is not following rules. otherwise this can very well be directed to us by accident since we do have a large presence in the area.please send the files to ******************************* we will gladly take a look.

I hired Good Life Construction to replace some siding on my house and repair areas of dry rot. All new materials were suppose to have been used & all high quality not damaged or defective. Instead, Good Life Const. installed siding that was marked DAMAGED Final Sale,No Returns, No Exchanges,. They also used vintage lumber and junk salvage for trim. I looked the company up online where they got the vintage lumber & that *** sells used barn planks for DIY home projects. The *************** was in such bad shape I immediately knew it was damaged & used. Good Life Const ignored my concerns, kept installing it, telling me I didnt know what I was looking at. After asking 10+ times, Good Life Const sent the receipts for materials they used on my house. Their receipts show 80%+ of the materials they used were damaged, used or both. Their receipt for my siding states in bold letters DAMAGED FINAL SALE NO EXCHANGE NO RETURNS. Their receipts also document the lumber used was vintage & gave the *** where it came from (that sells used barn planks). Good Life Const also failed to follow the instructions on their receipts, that said to keep the siding and lumber dry & clean until painted & installed. Instead Good Life made a huge pile 14 x4 of all the materials in my backyard. They piled it up in the dirt, the gravel and left it unprotected several days even though it rained. In the pile they also threw whatever they took off my house, it was all mixed in. Rusted, dented nails were also used instead of new & wood so decayed and splitting it wasnt even vintage -it was junk salvage held together by glue. Good Life failed to follow manufacturer assembly & install instructions on a storm door & sliding glass door that I bought from ****************** said they picked up. They sawed metal pieces off the storm door, now it cant be used at all. The sliding door they put in is broken/ cracked/ scratched & held together with tape/ glue/ plaster.

      Dear BBB,

We have been pusuing a resolve with this homeowner since the completion of the job.. As for the specific complaints within her message, referring to us as buying damaged and used material.

The company we bought the material from is a highly decorated and well known contractor supply company in the area "*****************", they provide many different types of materials. The particular material that was purchased for this project is not used or damaged, ***** lumber puts "**damaged*** on there reciept for their purposes on speccial order material that does not qualify for returns, refunds, or exchanges.

As for storing the material improperly, due to limited spaces and respect for the property, our team found the best spot that is not directly on the soil. As you can see in the pictures provided by the customer, the old "painted and damaged" siding is on top of the new material that was purchased. (unpainted t1-11 siding). We also have another black tarp in between the new siding and old siding to protect the new material from rain, it appears that the home owner may have exposed the new siding material for the photograph but it does show the plastic tarp/sheet.

For the next complaint where she mentioned that we "glued" junk salvage material together, for exteriors we used caulking on the seams of the trim to prevent water itrusion and further damage beneath the home exterior. This is common practice among all exterior contractor companies. It is a necessary barrier, but she is referring to it as "glued junk salvage material."

We did not use rusted or used nails and fasteners, she may have found a few laying on the floor from the demolition of the old siding and where we failed to clean up from the demo, sometimes the nails fall into the dirt and cannot be found easily for clean up. We did appologize for the possible mess we left behind that led her to belive we used old nails.

The sliding door had also been installed by manufacture and local standards and finished wiht caulking to prevent water intrusion. we did not use glue or tape, but temporarily had tape on the door to hold it in place for installation. The door is not hanging on tape. If the door has cracks or damages those happened after we install and is not our responsibility.

Finaly, as for her request for billing adjustment. We offered her many discounts and are at a loss for this job for 100% of the value. On multiple occasions she had written out a check for a portion of payment and cancled the check upon us leaving the property. Even after we have applied discounts that leaves the job at less than cost, we have not recieved any payments. Customer refuses to work with us at all.
